Fletcher Wellness-Hotel Kamperduinen

De kamer/het appartement (nr 7) was super goed! Veel ruimte, veel voorzieningen, een uitstekende slaapkamer met supergoed bed (op verzoek een topper gehad; uitstekend!).

An incredibly relaxing experience at a very affordable price. Great room, diverse array of facilities at the spa including a hot baths, multiple different saunas, salarium, steam room with peppermint, etc. World-class service from Diego - thanks again for making my trip a memorable one!

A day after our visit/stay at the resort, we wrote the following email complaint to which we never received any kind of reply. Dear Sirs, yesterday we spent our day at your resort. We were astounded, that so many attractions of the resort had been out of order. Even more the infusion sauna. When we arrived at 10.30 H there was an announcement, that infusions shall take place at 16.00, 18.00 and 20.00 hours. To our surprise and by pure coincidence we saw an infusion start at 14.00 hours, which my husband was able to attend by pure coincidence. The announcement outside the respective sauna was changed in the meantime (some time after noon). The infusion could not be completed as the oven was not fully functioning. The automatic infusion at the panorama sauna was also out of order. An alternative infusion was not offered. The restaurant was a genuine disappointment. Not only took it more than 30 minutes for the waiter (only 6 table were occupied at that time) to take our order, but another 20 minutes for two cola zero to arrive. The lunch itself was good. But diner was burger patty itself was dry as Mc Donald's and espresso was served in an unheated cup. An additional cola zero, which we had not consumed, was found on our bill. To cut a long story short. We would not recommend your resort to anyone. The brand Fletcher as well your Homepage promise a professional and immaculate service and appearance. Our experience is more of the opposite. 5 attractions out of order, service not adequate, billing incorrect. Upon check out we already complained about all this, but we were told to complain in writing. We paid € 140 for a day for a couple but it was not worth the money and didn't live up to any of our expectations. Back home we attend a sauna resort like this twice a week. But we have never experienced such a bad performance. We would like ask you to investigate into these matters and inform us if the result.

Clearly not well managed, and probably understaffed. It started with the room we booked, not cleaned after the last guests. An upgrade was offered (and accepted), however an apartment is not as nice as the stylish room we booked. The meals we ordered were not what was served, very slow as well. A big part of the evening and early night we were disturbed by noise from the parking place. I could mention more…. Somehow we also got the feeling staff thought giving coupons solved the issue. It does not…. Only positive is the food served was ok and restaurant staff tried hard.

It was ok. Just ok. Rooms were noisy, bed ok, room was nothing special. Wellness looks spacious, but with a lot of people inside it looks small. Restaurant for diner was poor, but breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly.

This was a 2 day stay present from my loved one The location is ideal for trips to the beach, Zierikzee, Middelburg, but nothing in the environment. We came here for the wellness, which was great, although verybusy for an thursday when we arrived: 3 persons at the reception, hardly a good day, just one employee working on the check in ... we didn't feel at all welcome, I had booked a wellness separately, payed 25 per person, and found out that if it had been booked together with accomodation, we would have paid half price! No info concerning this from employee. After the welness it was very busy in the lobby and we had to pay the restaurant costs separately, it could not be arranged at the check out: so we spend half an hour in our bathrobe in the lobby to get this arranged, also no info from the employee beforehand ... the rest of the staff was lovely, especially the night porter and breakfast staff ... Breakfast was ok

Surprisingly comfortable hotel located next to the beach. Good location. Friendly checkin, upgraded to an apartment. Rooms clean, everything looked new. Nespresso coffee machine with 4 capsules, replenished each day, bit mean asking 1.50 euro to buy an extra capsule. Breakfast buffet very good. Website not clear about the sauna and pools only being available at an extra charge and then due to corona only if booked in advance. Good place for a weekend stay.

I would like to thank you for your "Lack of Customer Service". on the 16th December I booked a package through the Fletcher Hotels Website. The package was 297 Euros and was for the below: BLUE WELLNESS PACKAGE 3 DAYS 2 x overnight stay 2 x extensive breakfast 1 x delicious 3-course à la carte dinner (in hotel restaurant or BLUE Wellness) 2 x day entrance BLUE Wellness from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm The dates were the 18th to the 20th December. Upon arrival at 3pm on Saturday I checked in and at 19:00pm the Dutch government announced the lockdown the following morning at 4am. Immediately I spoke to Reception and asked how it would work. Being I booked a "Blue Wellness Package" and that the restaurant and FItness club would be closed. Along with anything all in the area (Restaurants etc). I asked if I could check out and was advised that this was possible and the remaining parts of the package could be used in the future as a package. 3 weeks later after having to make 4 calls and send 3 emails I received 2 x entrances to the Blue wellness centre at the Fletcher Hotel in Middleberg a 3-hour drive from my house. I called the hotel and was told that as I had not cancelled in 24 hours this was all I could be offered. I challenged this and was again told it was "Hotel Policy". I decided to then escalate this to the Customer Service Team as logic was obviously in short supply when dealing with the hotel. How was I was? I was called by the hotel and spoke to a member of the customer service team. Again I was told I should of stayed at the hotel. I advised numerous times that I had come to this hotel specifically for Wellness and as this was not open there was no point in me staying there. I was then again advised that it was my choice and that I should not of checked out. I then asked for this to be escalated further as I believe that common sense was not prevailing. I was advised that the customer service representative was the only and last escalation point in Fletcher Hotels and she refused to escalate further and hung up the phone. I followed this up by email as I again wanted to discuss this with someone in a position of Authority. I was again advised of the below with the addition of dinner. Again this hotel is a 3 hours drive. Why would anyone drive 2 hours for dinner and a spa. "Thank you very much for your email. Sorry to learn that the communication regarding your complaint was not smooth. However, what Claudi has indicated to you is correct. Refund of the overnight stay is not possible. Except for the wellness, Fletcher was able to offer what you had booked. However, breakfast and dinner were in the room. When a guest checks out earlier that is a choice of his own. You have already been compensated for the wellness and, as an exception, Claudi has offered you a dinner code for 2 people. The hotel and rooms are just fine, large room and perfect bed. But the food (except for the first night's dinner) was absolutely horrific! The worst food I have ever seen in absolute terms but even worse in relation to the price we paid for the weekend.... The worst part was the obligatory Dutch traditional "oil ball" at New Years eve which is supposed to be warm and not stone cold.... Avoid the food in this hotel at all cost!
