The hotel is situated next to the sea between the 2 beautiful sandy beaches of St. Nicholas. For nature lovers, Gerakes beach is 3 km away - a famous turtle nesting beach with impressive sandstone and limestone cliffs. Argassi, a tourist town full of pubs, bars, restaurants and a variety of nightlife entertainment options is also close to the hotel, around 15 minutes by car. Guests will also find restaurants, bars and shops in the immediate vicinity, while links to the public transport network are to be found 500 m away. Zakynthos is approximately 15 km from the beach hotel and Zakynthos International Airport is around 20 km away. The hotel is a small building with a friendly atmosphere. Guests can expect a mix of modern and traditional styles, complete with facilities and services such as pool bar, restaurant, Internet access, a childrens playground and a car park. Further facilities include a lobby, safes in room, currency exchange facilities and WLAN Internet access (fees apply). All rooms of the hotel are bright, simply decorated and furnished, quiet and relaxing. Each room has a shower, twin beds,(few doubles)phone,TV, safe, Internet access, air conditioning and a fridge. A balcony or terrace also features in all rooms as standard and some rooms also provide a kitchenette. There is an outdoor swimming pool with poolside snack bar and sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Guests may also relax in the jacuzzi. Sun loungers and parasols can also be hired for a fee on the nearby sandy beach of St. Nicholas. The hotel offers bed and breakfast stays, with a continental breakfast buffet served in the breakfast room each morning. Very nice and friendly hotel. I liked the area a lot, it is closed to many nice beaches, where you can reach by foot. Staffs are friendly and pool area is lovely and well maintained.
Free use of sunbed/parasol at the nearby beach is a huge plus. Really lovely beach!
Drink/food from the hotel is very good and reasonable price, wish they offer more choices though.
If you are looking for a relaxing stay in the island, not need much of night life, this is the place

Return visit to Hotel Vasilikos Beach. I could simply say we had a perfectly relaxing time and leave it at that but I am sure that Tripadvisor would require some justification. So, welcomed by Hilary, Ria and all the hotel staff as if we were family returning home. It certainly felt like that after a hiatus of six years (last visited in 2018). Allocated to our favourite room 127 that has a lovely view to the sea. Many of the rooms were renovated in 2019 but Room 127 remains one of the originals, simply but comfortably furnished that made for a quiet and comfortable night's sleep. Breakfasts now offer a choice of both freshly cooked options as well as continental options, all served, buffet style, in the modern restaurant area that overlooks the pool. The ambience of the hotel, pool area and gardens remains peaceful and relaxed. As guests of the hotel we had complementary sun loungers at the nearby St Nicholas beach. There remain four tavernas within easy walking distance for dinners and during the daytime, a bigger choice of nearby beach bars for drinks and food. This remains one of our favourite hotels. Cannot wait to return!

Great place to stay, quiet with nice people on board, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and food was good as well. Nice looking pool outside and location is awesome, just few minutes from the beach. Around the hotel is few restaurants and shops.

The bed is comfortable. That's about it with the room. The bathroom is terrible. Shower cubicle is too small and the dirty mouldy shower curtain sticks to u so u have to shower without thus flooding the bathroom. The plastic toilet seat is discoloured and stained. The pipes under the sink are old rusty and leaked. The tray with the coffee and kettle was swimming in water when I first arrived. Don't rate the cleaners at all. The old rusty shutters stick. The hotel is well located however nearby beaches 5 mins walk. My advice don't book a "standard" room due to the poor quality bathroom.

Wow what can I say , a absolute gem of a place x so quaint and unique perfect in every way x lovely spacious room with a garden view x quiet and peaceful and very relaxing x rooms cleaned everyday x Hilary her family her staff and the gorgeous dogs all very welcoming friendly and always on hand if needed x gorgeous evening bar with candles and soft music to enjoy a lovely evening of cocktails overlooking the pool x lovely pool area x great breakfast x 2 lovely beaches within walking distance ( 5 mins ) a quiet little village a couple tavernas and supermarket x we hired a scooter to travel and explore x can’t thank them all enough for a lovely first trip to Greece x Beautiful x

Just returned from a 10 night stay in room 107. This is such a lovely Hotel, Hilary & Ria are perfect hosts, very helpful and so friendly. Hotel is kept spotlessly clean, rooms cleaned everyday, breakfast was amazing you could get a full English everyday, along with fruit yoghurt, fresh bread ect., there is something for everyone’s taste. Tavernas nearby are all good and reasonable prices. Beaches just around the corner and very nice with a good beach bar. Book this Hotel you will not be disappointed. Thank-you Hilary and Ria for your wonderful hospitality.

Really comfortable hotel in beautiful surroundings. We arrived quite late at night but had a very warm welcome at reception, were showed to our room and had time for a nightcap by the pool, which was all lit up, really quiet and plenty of comfortable seating under the trees. Our room was a Standard Plus, which I would recommend if you can afford it - it was large and comfortable, lovely views at the rear of the hotel through the trees to the sea. Rooms very clean, and serviced every day, fresh towels, floor mopped and beds made. The hotel is run by a British family, and lots of very friendly local staff throughout, Breakfast was good, plenty of fresh fruit, cereals, toast, cooked bacon/egg/beans, and continental choices too. This hotel is set in a tiny village with two supermarkets and a handful of tavernas, within walking distance of two lovely beaches, so it's perfect if you're looking for a quiet, laid back holiday. (Nothing to do in the evenings but that suited us!) We took the local bus to Zakynthos Town- 2euros each one way, great value and certainly worth it, the timetable is at reception, We also took the "Land and Sea" mini-bus excursion that is advertised at reception - a great way to see the north of the island in one day and included a boat trip to Shipwreck Bay (no landings or swimming allowed at the moment due to a landslide but plenty of time to take great photos), opportunity to swim off the boat further down the coast, certainly worth doing. We also took a half-day turtle watching trip through Jet2 which was also good. We didn't bother hiring a car this time but maybe worth doing, roads aren't too busy except for Zakynthos town itself. Highly recommend this hotel and would like to go back.

Stayed with my wife 10th to 17th. Hotel and surrounding area is perfect.......extremely well looked after by Hilary, Ria, Roxanne, the twins and the rest of the very capable team. Sorry didn't get all your your names but you know who you are. A minor issue with our initial room (which was an upgrade, pleasant surprise thankyou) was quickly put right by Ria, Spent 4 days driving round the beautiful island. Great little car provided by Fanos car rentals. Book with confidence at the Vasilikos Beach Hotel of being well looked after on having a very laid back holiday, but should you wish there are abundant watersports just a 5 minute walk away.
