The Lazy Monkey Hostel & Apartments

Came just for one night but wish we had stayed longer! The room was spacious and had lockers for small items (but not large bags if that’s a concern) but the hostel felt so safe that this wasn’t an issue. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating to guests and many of the younger workers were very friendly and sociable with the people staying. Can tell this would be a great place for a longer term stay, with a great social space out the front. The owner even cooked a meal you could opt into for €5 and it was delicious! It is a bit of a walk from Zadar old town, but this doesn’t matter because the coastal path is beautiful in itself. Can’t recommend enough!

Extremely helpful and kind staff who help organise and create a social atmosphere in the lounge area where nice homemade drinks and beer of a few varieties can be bought for cheap. The rooms provide ample comforts such as AC and generous lockers that make the stay feel comfy. The only drawbacks are the pillows aren’t too big and comfy and that there was a silent rule after 11 pm which felt a little limiting.
