I don’t know what the reviewer meant when the person wrote “ This HONEST review is coming from a person who isn't a spoiled Platinum Member.” Does the writer refer to negative reviews? How would the person know for sure if a negative reviewer is “a spoiled Platinum Member”? Why go on the attack? I stayed at this hotel once in 2023 and once in 2024 in late winter to attend a conference. Each time I have found the staff to be professional, the hotel common areas clean, the pool and hot tub clean looking and maintained, but not swimable due to cold temperatures. I did not use them. Someone commented on no towels in the gym. Just ask for a towel. Theft of towels, clocks, and once in Louisiana the entire cable box system was stolen out of a Fairfield Inn. Just ask the front desk for a towel. I travel for business so I’ve witnessed many hotels. I’ve never had a big problem even at the terrible one south of Memphis , TN. This hotel management hires staff that actually care about the hotel and guest experiences which is rare these days. No I don’t know the manager and am unrelated to anyone in the hotel or the area. I just have enough experience to know a decent hotel when I see one. About the reviewers complaint of no fresh fruit. They had while apples on my latest visit which I cannot eat. They had dried fruit like apricots. They had oatmeal, waffles, hotel egg and sausage. They had carbs like muffins and bagels. They had Swiss Miss hot chocolate packets and hotel coffee. They had juices including cranberry juice, cereal and milk including 2 percent and soy milk.! My guest room was for hearing impaired due to a previous surgery where I needed a walker. I was told that I’ll need to correct that with Marriott main office number. I found the room spacious with 2 beds, clean, large bathroom with a regular tub and with a small 2 1/2 foot wide tv screen. Does hearing impaired mean a guest needs a small tv? I was okay because I didn’t watch TV, but what a shock for guests staying during the Super Bowl. There was a microwave And small fridge. Some guests reported that the king rooms all have walk-in showers. I listen to other guests when we discuss our stays. Back to the breakfast since that’s what many reviewers worried about. The breakfast was typical low quality included breakfast items. I noticed some guests were frustrated about the food choices. If the food is included in an American hotel, it will be the cheapest the consumer will tolerate. There is a breakfast restaurant down the hill called The Broken Yolk with excellent breakfast selections. Sometimes families and school sports teams depend on included breakfasts to save money as they travel. The days of excellent included breakfasts have ended. Hotels have learned that customers will tolerate low quality breakfasts. The city has a Sprouts grocery store a short drive away - not walking distance- where fresh fruit can be purchased. There is a restaurant named Cracker Barrel for al
