Rượu trà Phổ Nhĩ rất ngon, trà đen cây cổ thụ rất hợp khẩu vị. Tôi phải mang về. Tôi ăn hết thịt ba chỉ nướng, thịt bò, đậu phụ tráng và khoai tây trông giống như cà rốt. Sau khi nói chuyện với ông chủ, tôi biết được họ và Bảo Lâm là cùng một gia đình. Quả nhiên, chất lượng đồ ăn và chỗ ở đều là trên mạng! 👍Nếu có cơ hội quay lại, tôi chắc chắn sẽ ở lại Baolin.

Pauline's was easily one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip to Yunnan. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The hotel manager was incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. When we had an early morning trip planned to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Mountain), they even arranged a takeaway breakfast for us so we wouldn't miss out on our meal. The hotel is located in the charming Yuhu Village, which turned out to be one of our favorite places in the region. Since the village has controlled vehicle access between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., the hotel helped coordinate our license plate registration with the gatekeepers, making arrival completely hassle-free. Yuhu Village itself is a destination worth experiencing. Horses and cars share the same narrow streets, giving the village a unique and authentic atmosphere. The village is filled with locally owned cafés, bakeries, and restaurants. One local restaurant we visited served vegetables and free-range chicken grown and raised by the owners themselves, making the meals feel especially fresh and authentic. We also loved the croissants from a nearby bakery and the burgers from a café down the road. The mountain views from many of these spots were simply beautiful. The food at Pauline's was another highlight and never disappointed. We ended up having dinner there several times during our stay, enjoying both local dishes and Western options. Breakfast was hearty and satisfying, typically consisting of freshly prepared noodles or wontons accompanied by a selection of side dishes. Nighttime desserts were also provided and something to look forward to. Everything was well made and provided a great start/end to the day. Because we were staying for an extended period, the hotel also arranged complimentary pickup and drop-off services from the train station, which was greatly appreciated. Compared to the more famous old towns, Yuhu felt cooler, quieter, and far less crowded. Didi rides were easy to arrange, although food deliveries could take a little longer due to the location. That said, we never felt the need to leave the village as it had everything we needed. The rooms and facilities were modern, comfortable, and beautifully designed—every corner felt photo-worthy. We happened to visit during the rainy season, which was both a blessing and a curse. While the clouds and mist often obscured the mountain views, they also created a magical atmosphere and meant significantly fewer crowds. Overall, Pauline's offers a perfect combination of warm hospitality, stylish accommodations, excellent food, and an unforgettable village experience. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more authentic and peaceful alternative to the busier tourist areas around Lijiang.

We had an awesome stay at Pauline, a nice and calming place away from the ancient towns with great hospitality. The service was impeccable, catered to all our requests. Loved the hearty breakfast, enjoyed the afternoon tea and spoiled by the nightly sweet soup. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Highly recommended, will definitely stay here again!!

This place was the highlight of my Yunnan trip. Service was impeccable. It felt like we were staying with a good friend. We felt looked after and very welcomed. The property was beautiful and very well designed. It was the perfect place to stay if you want to be based in the area. If we ever come back to Lijiang, we would love to stay here again.

Excellent place to relax mind and soul. Balcony view of the snow berg is so calming. Home stay staff are all so welcoming and kind. We could just spend the whole day playing with the home stay cats. Bakery, restaurants around the home stay.

Review from Malaysian - worth every penny! 1. First and foremost, this place is a true definition of luxury. It's architecture and design is really well thought off with a dedicated private courtyard. Their common space has different section, giving you choices on where and what you would like to experience. Its interior spells luxury in every corner. They even have a fireplace which is actually a humidifier - very important for a cold place. 2. Secondly, as its name. It is the most carefree holiday we had, where everything is well prepared and well planned. 3. Last but not least, the hospitality.! Its owners are always around. We have multiple conversations beside the fireplace (legit fireplace) and when we depart, the most touching words was said - "call us if there is anything as we are local people, we can help you" Totally recommend to stay here, true definition of "atas".

Beautiful place to stay! It’s located in Yuhu Village, personally I feel this village is the most prettiest village in Lijiang. It’s also very exclusive because you need to be confirmed to be able to enter the village. It’s perfect for those who like peaceful village. There are some shops and restaurants, not too many, they are still building them, but the good thing is it is clean and not too crowded. Pauline itself is magnificent! From the room to the front desk. Room is clean, spacious, and modern! Not to mention the mountain view from the balcony. The front desk people are super helpful. They help with luggages, laundry and all my needs! I would definetely come back to stay here when I’m in Lijiang. Lastly, don’t worry, easy to grab Didi to take you anywhere. Also, the rooftop coffee shop is very scenic and close!

The village atmosphere, friendly locals, and lovely coffee shops and bakeries make it a joy to explore. A particular highlight is the close-up view of Yulong Snow Mountain, which adds a breathtaking natural backdrop to the entire experience. Customer Service & Staff: The customer service was outstanding. We received thoughtful, personalised tips and guidance to make our stay in Lijiang as enjoyable as possible—far from generic recommendations, the suggestions were clearly tailored to our personal interests and needs. The staff are exceptionally warm, friendly, and generous, and they genuinely make you feel welcome. It is evident that they love what they do, and that passion translates into an atmosphere where guests truly feel valued. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. We were deeply touched by the manager’s generosity and thoughtful parting gifts. Absolutely loved our stay here! The room was gorgeous and had a stunning view over Yulong mountain. Such a lovely hotel in a town that wasn’t overly commercialized. Would definitely book here again.
