Americas Best Value Inn and Suites Yucca Valley

We had an okay stay, except we were woken up 2 times in the middle of the night by the phone ringing for no apparent reason, and no one on the other end when we answered. Told we’d get a discount next time, but were offered only 5% discount. Disappointed.

The Americas Best Value Inn is Newly Renovated nice and clean rooms. Very Comfortable beds, great staff, great corridors, next to McDonalds and other fast food, very convenience Food, Gss, and shoppings...I recommande stay again & again with best Value Price....

After spending the night before at an absolute dump of a motel that billed itself as kitschy, I was afraid this one would be the same. I was so wrong. We were in the "Bermuda Triangle" room, and what fun! It is totally uniquely decorated with a huge jacuzzi tub en suite. The owner was extremely nice and friendly. The outside is an explosion of roses in full bloom and a beautifully cultivated garden in the middle of the complex. Arches of lovely smelling Jasmine are everywhere. I saw pictures of some of the other themed rooms and would love to return just to experience them. Despite a couple of cosmetic flaws (what hotel doesn't), I would definitely return. Wonderful experience.

The staff, David and his wife have been wonderful. Very accommodating, respectful and overall just nice people that are always smiling treat you well. Am in a kitchenette room next to the pool/spa. Everything you need to prepare a nice home cooked meal is provided. Pool and spa are clean. Spa is nice and warm. Strong jets. Plenty of parking. Quiet and cozy resort kind of vibe. No complaints. Fair rates. Highly recommend.

I was initially inclined to give this hotel a five-star rating. The room was decent for the price, and the pool/hot tub provided a welcome respite after exploring the national park. However, my interaction with the staff was unexpectedly difficult and frankly bewildering, casting a shadow over what had otherwise been an enjoyable birthday weekend in Joshua Tree. On the morning of our departure, my father, who was staying at another hotel nearby, fell ill. He was driving towards us, en route to catch a flight from San Diego and needed to use our restroom before embarking on a lengthy drive. This request coincided with our checkout time, so I called the hotel to request a late checkout, which was denied. While the refusal was perplexing given the apparent emptiness of the hotel, I wouldn't fault them solely for that. What ensued was a rather uncomfortable situation. Hotel staff began loitering around our room 10 minutes before checkout, seemingly eager to enter. Their impatience was palpable, with disapproving glances and noticeable frustration as if to convey, "Why are you still here? It's time to check out!" Due to my father's illness, he overstayed by a few minutes past the 11 am checkout. It was at this point he disclosed that he had tested positive for COVID. I promptly opened windows for ventilation and informed the staff, who I believe was one of the owners. Instead of understanding the urgency, she just got angry, insisting my father lacked permission to use the restroom. She expressed her displeasure, making it clear our child couldn't enter to use a towel from the room to dry off from the pool, and emphasizing the need for us to leave ASAP. As my parents live on the other side of the country, bidding farewell under these circumstances, being essentially forced out of a seemingly deserted hotel parking lot I had paid to stay in, was disheartening. Dealing with my father's illness and travel logistics was challenging enough, but the inflexible checkout policies and lack of empathy from the staff added unnecessary stress. Regrettably, based on this experience, I wouldn't consider staying at this hotel again.

Never went just passed by drove right on through to the other side it was on my way to anither destination so never went . So i dont really know anything about the place . Maybe some time i will go out and look at the place

The rooms albeit a bit dated in decor are clean, not small, and comfortable with microwave and refrigerator. Outside there is a small pool, jacuzzi, and courtyard garden and a pot of morning coffee in the lobby. The location is ideal -- on the main street of Joshua Tree with many ***** malls, gas stations and places to eat nearby. I'd return for an overnight.

Very spacious, clean rooms for a modest price! The front desk clerk (owner?) Was very kind when we checked in and even the next day. We were in Yucca for our nieces funeral and my husband needed some sheet music printed so he could play the trumpet for her. The gentleman printed it for us free of charge! I hate most hotel pillows but these ones were amazingly comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave in your room. There is coffee in the lobby and thank goodness, it's delicious! For making a last minute booking, we had a great experience!

We were traveling between Anza Borrego and Joshua Tree, looking for a place to stay overnight and all the motels in Indio were full. We made the reservation then read the reviews and almost canceled but decided to check it out first. The rooms are very old with worn furnishings but the beds are comfortable, the rooms quiet and immaculate. There are some serious motel bashing posts about filth, cheating and ***********. We found none of that to be true. It is very clean and sanitary. The heater is a bit erratic and loud but the room is fine for a night’s stay. That said, it does not do a good job of representing America’s Best Value Inns and that is misleading. We have stayed in this chain before and there is a standard we expected and did not find.
