Harmony House Boutique B&B

We stayed here for two nights, what a fantastic place. The hotel isnt too far away from the park and ride if you want to use that to go in to York, the bus takes about 10/15 so wasn't long at all. On arrival we was welcomed with fresh tea and coffee and sweet treats, Hilary was very knowledgeable and offered us lots of advice on parking and places to visit. Our room was a nice size, very clean and perfect for us, tea and coffee facilities left in the were fantastic especially as it wasn't the little milk pots that I tend to run out of after a couple of cups of tea, we especially liked the fact that there was a mini fridge room so we could have cooled bottle, The bathroom was spotless with a large shower. I loved the decor of the room and fell in love the two seater in the room, this was so pretty. The breakfast at harmony house were fantastic, there was a great selection of fruit juices, cereals, fruit and pastries to help yourself to and cooked breakfasts, omelettes also available. We both had cooked breakfasts on both mornings - the scrambled eggs were amazing. Both Phil and Hilary are fantastic hosts and we will be returning in the future.

Lovely two night stay at Harmony House B&B in the fabulous Great Burnet room. with a walk in shower, and oh so comfy bed. Such wonderful views to wake up to. Tea and coffee milk and a little treat (which i saved then left behind). Adele was the perfect host, nothing too much trouble and the breakfast was amazing, just right to set us up for the day. A welcoming, relaxed stay. Clean and comfortable venue. Lovely choice of breakfast, nicely cooked and presented. Our host Adele couldn't have been more accommodating. Little extras like chocolates were a nice touch. Thoroughly recommend.

We stayed in the Great Burnet room and the room overlooks the green. The bed was very comfy and the room was quiet so we slept well. Adele is a fantastic host, very welcoming and full of local knowledge. The room had everything you needed, you had fresh milk in the fridge, coffee and different teas. The breakfast was in the Garden room, again a lovely room. You chose your breakfast the night before and they are lovely and very filling. The house is not too far from a park and ride so you can easily get into York from there. We used the park and ride twice during our stay. This is a beautiful place to stay and Adele is a very friendly host who takes the time to speak to her guests. We would definitely recommend staying here. We hope to return soon

Stayed here for a long weekend in October with my partner for his birthday. This B&B is so much more than the run of the mill B&B's. The rooms are a good size and very tastefully decorated with gorgeous bedding. It was the liitle touches that really made is special, things like home-made cookies, cakes and scones. A small fridge with bottled water, fresh milk & fresh Orange juice. A large bag of kettle crisps. The en-suite bathroom was fabbo with a large roll topped bath big enough for two and a walk in shower, don't worry about taking soaps, shampoos, bubble bath as these are all supplied by the owner, Bath towels a plenty and are huge & fluffy.The breakfast is tasty, hot & plenty of it served in a farmhouse kitchen at a shared long table where you end up talking to other guests, relaxed & friendly. Will DEFFO be going back and will be recommending to my family & friends. It was lovely to enjoy the hustle & bustle of York but escape to the lovely quiet village of Stillingfleet approx 6 miles away for a quiet romantic evening.

Came to York for a wedding and decided to stop for a few days. We booked a Bed and Breakfast for the stay which is located near the wedding venue but about 15 minutes outside York town centre. There is a park and ride a few minutes away which is ideal for getting in and out of York or simply shopping at the Designer outlet shopping precinct. About Harmony House itself, It's in a very peaceful village setting but with a very simple route into York itself. We were met by Hilary who was very welcoming even though we were early. We were given the annexe which is more like a granny flat with its own kitchen and sitting room very exclusive and very well presented. The whole premises give a cottage feel. Breakfast is served in a small but well laid out cottage type room and you just feel like your at home. The food was excellent plenty of it well presented and served in a timely manner. We never felt rushed throughout our stay and nothing was to much trouble in fact Hilary and Paul went out of there way to make our stay pleasant thank you. We would certainly stay again if in the area.

Stayed for three nights at this lovely B&B hosted by Adele. The B&B is situated opposite the green in the village which gives some lovely views especially of the owl which flies by each evening (nice bonus). Our stay was lovely with everything we needed, room very comfortable, quiet and overlooking the green. The breakfasts, served in the garden room, were lovely and certainly set us up for the day. Not far to the park and ride and then straight into York. The host, Adele, was welcoming, friendly and helpful right the way through from booking to staying. Overall a great place to stay so definitely recommended.

We stayed at Harmony House after my sister kindly gave me a Wowcher voucher. What can I say but the place is beautiful and so relaxing , we only stayed for two nights midweek but my partner and I felt like we had been away for days as we were so chilled. Adele is an excellent, friendly host and gave us some great recommendations, from sight seeing , shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was beautiful and in a lovely garden room making you feel so relaxed. Ideally situated for a visit to York and the designer shopping outlet. We are at a beautiful Italian which was in an old windmill on recommendation from Adele, it was fabulous and the service was excellent. Thank you to a great host. Phil and Justine

I booked this B & B as it was near a wedding that I was attending. What a delight it was. Adele the host couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful. The room was beautiful and quiet. The surprise of the breakfast room which looks out onto the garden was so cheerful a lovely place to eat your breakfast. The lavender eggs were delicious. If we are ever in this are again we will definitely stay here. Thanks Adele.
