Tuwang Palace Waterfall Inn

Location is fantastic, overlooking the falls. The room and balcony are directly above the river and about 50 feet from the falls. The balcony has a direct view. The room itself is very historical, constructed of wood planks and circular beams of wood. It’s a traditional building. The staircase up to the room is quite steep. Also, accessing the hotel requires you go down several flights of stairs as you make your way from the main road to the building which is perched along the rivers edge. As you exit the hotel you are on the path which goes down to the rivers edge and allows access to the back side of the falls and cave. The owner is friendly and met us at the gate of Furong Old town and helped carry one suitcase to the hotel. Before entering the old town, you need to pay the fee even if your hotel is within the old town.

Very good hotel. The room was clean and spacious, well decorated. The team was very welcoming and made sure we had eveything we needed. The location was perfect with the park entrance at walking distance and the night market at our feet. The only downside was that the soundproofing of our door was not great and we could head everything that was going on in the corridors outside.

The hotel was lovely and the most beautiful view in the town. The best hotel location in Furong and the waterfall helps you sleep peacefully at night. The hotel is at the bottom of stairs however this is not a worry as the staff kindly helped us carry bags down. And back up to the entrance and called a taxi for us. The room was clean and came with slippers and toothbrushes. The hotel is peaceful but a 1 minute walk from lots of restaurants and stores. Stayed right by Furong’s famous waterfall—our room had a balcony facing it, and the view was absolutely stunning, day or night. Watching the water cascade over the cliff with the village lit up at night was something special. 🌊✨ If you love bold views and unique stays, this place is for you. It’s a charming, offbeat experience perfect for photo lovers and nature fans—but don’t expect luxury. The pillow, bedding, and room were okay—simple but decent. Just a heads-up: the hotel only provides disposable towels, so it’s a good idea to bring your own. Not a big deal, but something to note. Also, pack comfy shoes and maybe some earplugs—the waterfall is loud, and there can be tourist noise at night. But we were all good 👍🏻 Bottom line: Come for the views, stay for the atmosphere… and bring your own towel. 😄

Great value for money, perfect location very close to the waterfall, the room was quite spacious however you could hear the tourist groups passing by the window very early in the morning making a lot of noise. The lady from the front desk is very kind and helpful however the guy in the afternoon is not so much. I'd still recommend it.

Nice view, very close to the waterfall, hard to carry the luggage to the hotel.
