I've never slept in a more comfortable bed whilst on holiday, I would even go to say it was more comfortable than my own at home, but the holiday is not just about the bed. On arrival we were welcomed kindly by a concierge & then the reception staff & hotel manager, Valia. It was a proper check in, not your tour bus type of check in, pleasant with staff taking their time to explain the full amenities of the hotel. It also didn't hurst that we were upgraded to a suite. There was assistance with taking our luggage to the room, which is another plus as the hotel attendant kindly showed us around our room. We had a welcome mini fridge filled with brand names & received daily top ups for our coffee making facilities and water. (Interestingly you can't drink the water at the hotel, whether that was a one off situation we found ourselves in, but the hotel provided free bottled water & having a fridge in the room meant we could keep it lovely and cold). The air conditioning in the room worked and very well, let me just say I enjoy sleeping with a chill in the air. The room was an excellent size with a dressing gown and slippers provided. Plenty of storage and hangers were available and also an ironing board. The bathroom had a walk in rain shower and bath with vanity packs provided. A hairdryer was also available. I would say that a wet floor and tiles does make it rather slippy, be careful. The curtains ensured that the wonderful sunrises didn't disturb when we missed them. We had a room that faced both inland & the sea which was wonderful and oversaw some wasteland (left for eco development) & a further hotel. Yes, you see the airplanes and hear them, but when in the room you heard nothing. The sunrises are spectacular and you appreciate the area start coming to life once the sun is up. The food at this hotel is way above par. Breakfast is a mixture of cold and hot food. Chefs on hand cook your eggs to how you want them, I don't know many more hotels that do this. The choices throughout the day in the main restaurant is extensive and includes a mixture of world foods are available. The dishes are mouthwatering and delicious, when you read that this hotel is a food hotel, I can guarantee we weren't disappointed. There are a la carte restaurants and these too had many tasty dishes, we ate at these a couple of times whilst staying at the hotel. The ambience of the a la carte restaurant is open air and romantic, with a beautiful surround, you actually feel away from the hotel, yet still in it's grounds. The drink at the hotel is branded, even for all inclusive & the cocktails fantastic, however, a nice chocolate milkshake during the day also satisfied the soul. The amenities include a kidney shaped pool focused around a pool side bar, a walk in pool with a side jacuzzi. Aqua aerobics, paddle board yoga and other activities are available. Pool quiz each evening and occasionally other local Cypriot events mid afternoon keep each day differ
