On the 23.08.24, after 7 years of engagement, 10 years together and me battling grade 3 breast cancer the last 12 months, we got married at this wonderful hotel We booked our wedding Aug 23, 2 weeks later I was told I had breast cancer. There were times we didn’t know we’d make it and the date was at risk of being postponed. BUT, we made it and this day has kept us all going the last year so we all needed it to be perfect and that’s exactly what it was PERFECT We had 31 guests join us, every single one of them had the most amazing time, everyone at the hotel is just wonderful. From the minute of us arriving, Michael and Louise looked after us in ways I never expected to be looked after on holiday Rudi everyday, always with a smile, always greeting us and our families. Honestly, despite how tough the last 12 months have been, you all made sure we had the time of our lives. We will never forget this day, it means the world to us as a family and I’m forever grateful to the entire hotel team and Louise at TUI for making our wedding day and holiday the most amazing experience! The AI food was the best we’ve ever had, the food at our wedding was OUTSTANDING, our guests comparing to Michelin restaurant quality, wow blown away! What an incredible menu, Gala menu 1 for anyone pondering what to choose, you won’t be disappointed You brought all our dreams to life, it was everything we wanted and more. We stayed at this hotel as a family of 4 near end of July. I read a lot of positive reviews on this hotel so was really excited. When we arrived, I had good impressions at first. Champagne & cakes / biscuits upon arrival whilst we filled out forms out. I requested a sea view room away from the terrace & ground floor & they fulfilled our request. However it wasn’t really a proper sea view as unfortunately a lot of the palm trees blocked the view. Room was quite small for a family of 4, but we got by with it. Bathroom was ok, but water leaked on the floor every time we showered. We had an early dinner the first night, the restaurant was huge & impressive with modern decor. The food selection was lovely, although I did find it repetitive as the days went on. I found the hot foods were quite oily & a lot fried so if you suffer with food triggers / stomach issues like myself it might get a bit much as it can’t be avoided whilst your there! However the pasta, rice dishes & desserts were probably my favourite. I found the corridors were dated & a little grubby. I appreciate the cleaners work very hard to clean the rooms every day & I think there’s at least 3,000 rooms (we were on second floor in the 2000+ rooms). But in order to keep it well maintained, I think this hotel needs constant maintenance not just in the rooms as this hotel can obviously cater to a very large capacity of people. Therefore some areas get a bit neglected with cleanliness. Sorry that’s just my opinion as I did feel a bit let down on this side, especially when I read the reviews on cleanliness! Nonetheless, the lobby, pool areas, terrace were always clean. I did feel there was always a race against time to get a sun bed in the mornings especially at the main pool! By 8am, most sun beds are taken & there is a LOT of sun beds! The main pool was ok but got a bit crowded, the pool at the back was a bit better but deeper & the splash pool was good for little ones. We went on the aqua slides at the end of holiday, they were fun but I can imagine can get boring after a few times, as my kids lost interest a bit quick. You would need to go to an actual aqua park to get the best out of it. My kids did like the adventure park there & went there a few times & even made a friend! The beach nearby the hotel was very rocky & not really enjoyable especially for my kids. There was another beach 250km away which again was still rocky, but my kids loved playing in the sand. Overall I have mixed reviews, it was a lovely holiday, but I was disappointed in some areas of the holiday, considering I was so expectant of it after reading all of the positive reviews. Sorry if this review is long, I appreciate you reading to the end but just wanted to give my really honest opinion!!

Enjoyed 1 week here just me and hubby, the staff are outstanding, very smiley polite and friendly. Hotel is lovely, very clean, big, but enough space to not feel over crowded. The only downside to us was the alcoholic drinks, local drinks, really weak, not a massive choice, enjoyed what we had but premium would have made this hotel 10/10, husband started drinking our own Smirnoff by day 3, husband is in a manual wheelchair the hotel is very accessible to wheelchair users, the ramps are quite steep he couldn’t get up on his own but either me, staff or hotel residents helped. Electric wheelchair users no problem. Rudi the manager went above and beyond to sort our room out when we got there too as wheelchair wouldn’t fit through bathroom door, the food is outstanding, so tasty, looks delicious, and a lot of variety, restaurant is really big too so never a problem getting a table. Swimming pools are fantastic, one for ball games, lilos, and one for more relaxing swim, no lilos games allowed in there, a big children’s pool with a play area in middle, I would recommend this hotel but point out about the alcohol. The entertainment is downstairs and indoors, we never went so cannot comment, I’m on holiday so want to be outside in the warmth, they do have live music outside some were good some were not to our taste, there’s a small shop in the hotel abit pricey, but also a shop over the road, not big but perfect for snacks and reasonably priced. You don’t have to get up early for a Sunbed unless you want a particular one.

We have just returned following an 11 night stay at the LP. We last visited in 2016 when my wife was expecting our first child. Fast forward 7 years and we returned with our 2 daughters and my parents. Reading some of the reviews on here prior to arriving we were a little concerned with what to expect however we soon realised we needn’t have. The holiday was fantastic, food in particular was amazing, so much variety and something for everyone. We loved the drinks, cocktails were lovely and plenty of choice. Of course not all were to our taste but we wouldn’t expect them to be. The rooms are small but we knew that before booking, after all we don’t go on holiday to sit in the room so this wasn’t an issue for us, nor were some blue carpets that we often saw mentioned (who really cares about carpet) . Finally the staff - what made the holiday so fantastic. The hotel are so fortunate to have the likes of Rudi De Ponte at the helm. Don’t think I’ve ever been to a hotel where I’ve seen so many management staff, if you have an issue it won’t take you long to find someone to help you. The lifeguards were brilliant with the kids, in particular Mahmoud who my girls loved. The entertainment team work incredibly hard and put on some excellent shows. We would absolutely love to return in the future. A brilliant hotel with amazing staff, great food and lots to do. Those who are due to come in the future will no doubt have a wonderful holiday just like we did.

We have just arrived home in the UK after a fantastic 10 day holiday at Louis Phaethon. This was my second time visiting having previously visited a number of years ago with my daughter. Plus points Hotel underwent a refurb in 2020 so all public areas are looking very clean and fresh. Choice of food, especially for vegetarians is excellent. Lifeguards are brilliant and totally on the ball, we watched them jump in and aid struggling children a couple of times. They are also not afraid to exert rules to promote the safety for everyone…something we seem to be too scared to do these days in the UK!! Staff are all lovely and we had some lovely bar staff ensuring we always had a full glass. Negatives Our room was meant to be a double room but we were given a twin…it also was quite damp and always had a musty smell. The girls room was lovely and there were no issues with damp. Outdoor toilets need a refurb…the cleaners are amazing at constantly getting in there and scrubbing but they never quite smell fresh. A lovely time was had by all and we look forward to returning at some point in the future. Thank you Phaethon staff for looking after us!!

What a fantastic hotel. The reviews I read were spot on. Arriving in the evening it was lovely that there was food laid out for us in the main restaurant with a cold drink. Was very much appreciated. Room 3060 top floor with sea view like I requested and I got it. Great view of everything and very hot on the balcony until evening. First glance of hotel it looks very appealing, lovely decor, nice and airy with great customer service from the reception team. Big shout out to Sofia at the restaurant entrance. We loved our chats with her every day. She’s the nicest lady, very professional and a major asset to this hotel. Ahmed, what a guy in the main restaurant. He was mentioned on nearly all posts. His Customer service was fantastic and goes above and beyond. Olympia in the lobby bar, she’s the best. We’ve made friends with her because she’s the nicest soul. All the staff here inside and out are a massive asset to the hotel. I’ve stayed in many 4 star and 5 star hotels but the restaurant and the food provided was some of the best food we’ve had. The choice was plentiful, breakfast lunch and dinner. Dessert, great choice there too. You certainly won’t go hungry. The chef that makes fresh omelettes, he’s very good. Loved them every morning. For us the food makes this hotel what it is. Cleaner’s cleaned our room everyday and left fresh towels and re stocked our fridge with water which was a lovely touch. Entertainment team were very popular but what was nice is that they didn’t pester you. If you wanted to take part it was up to you. The waterslides were a great addition and pools were lovely. There’s always a bed and umbrella, there was no problem at any time of the day as it was massive. A lovely walk into the harbour is really welcomed after dinner and to watch the sunset and look at all the lovely hotels nearby. Everyone walks at different speeds but I liked looking at the lovely cats around and at the hotels and beach etc so was a longer walk for us. We got a bus back from the harbour to hotel and that was €3. Pool towels also free and changed daily which was again a nice touch. Overall we loved this hotel and would certainly visit again. To the manager who we met and spoke to most nights, well you have this hotel spot on. Clearly you all have an understanding for one and other and it works. Don’t let anyone go. The hotel has it all!!! Me and my husband were taking our 20 month old on her first holiday and to say we were nervous would have been an understatement. From being greeted off the coach transfer with cold drinks and sweet treats we knew the next 10 days would be bliss. We stayed in G124 which had a walk in shower (perfect for our little girl), a travel cot, a small balcony which overlooked the pool and was just a short walk to the hotel foyer. The bar staff provided us with a carton of milk each night for our little girl’s bottles. I have never known a hotel do this before so it was a big thumbs up from us!!!! Each night had a different theme in the restaurant. We stayed for 10 days and never got bored! We ate in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. There was always a choice of soup and multiple desserts too. Our little girl loved having ice cream on demand throughout the day - even at breakfast! From 10:30am the pool bar is open for snacks, drinks (soft and alcoholic), ice cream and iced coffees! There are three pools which certainly kept our little girl busy. There is a large pool which is split into a shallow and a deep end. This hosts the water polo and aqua aerobics. There is also two quizzes which you can take part in throughout the day. If you fancy a quieter day, There is a further deep pool which has a seated area in it which we loved playing in with our little girl. The final pool is a children’s water park consisting of a frame with steps and three slides. The water was shallow enough for our little girl to walk in safely. There are also a number of water features including a crocodile! If you want a bit more fun there are three water slides on site which were great fun for the adults. The hotel has a seat front where you can sunbathe and there are steps down into the sea which is wonderful. The children’s mini disco was a favourite of ours - especially during the mascot nights when we met Peppa Pig and Scooby Doo. Overall this hotel was PERFECT for us and we are already looking at dates for next year!

Just back from a week away here and must admit it’s been great, we dont usually stay at big hotels so was a little apprehensive, especially on arrival when some guests in the lobby area was a little loud but the guy on reception dealt with it very well and we was checked in. Got to our room, we are a family of 5 so two was in their own, a few rooms down the corridor which was good to be close. You can see the rooms have been updated in recent years and are good for what they are intended for, although not the largest so felt a little small for 3 of us. At the end of the day though, we are not on holiday to spend loads of time inside. Only slight down with rooms is standard of cleaning, was cleaned ok and beds made up but not made very well, also all sheets was clean but some are showing signs of wear and tear, also find cleaners hairs on the sheets a few times. Not a massive issue but a little bit more attention to detail here wouldn’t go amiss. Hotel allows bed reservations from 0600 but we didn’t find out till a few days in, in am usually up for a walk around 0700 and had no issues getting decent beds, when back from a walk down the coast it was pretty full but always spares knocking around. Food was outstanding throughout, always plenty of choice, always something to eat throughout the day and plenty of drink choices. Really cannot find fault with food / drinks and Ahmed in the main restaurant is a wonderful person, on day one he came over and said hello, from then on he always made time to say hello, working to clear your table and be a really nice person. Staff throughout the hotel are outstanding, probably the best we have seen anywhere! Outdoor areas and pools are great, although pools were a little warm, especially on our last day which left us wondering they are heated? Slides are a a good distraction in the day and whilst the peeps of the lifeguards can be a little annoying, if guests didn’t push the rules then they wouldn’t need to whistle. Night time is good, always seemed to be something on but we are happy to sit and chill, play cards and talk plus our kids are 12, 17 and 18 so kids club etc can’t comment. Coast is lovely, turn left and walk takes you along a nice beach, turn right and takes you along the coast past the other hotels. Either way is really nice and a great way to spend an hour in the morning. Bus down to Paphos is right outside and €2 each, taxi back from Harbour €20 and well worth it. Paphos is lovely, we’ve been 5 times now and will continue to return. All in all, great week away, very good hotel, prob one of the best we have stayed in throughout out years if travelling. Would have no hesitation going back, well done to the whole hotel team!

We’ve not long arrived back from the Louis Phaethon Beach hotel after a wonderful 10 day holiday. Although we are an older couple (68 & 71) we enjoyed being in a family run hotel as it catered for all ages and interests. The staff at the hotel are the best we have ever come across. They are all so friendly, helpful, polite and do everything with a smile on their faces. Our cleaner, Katerina ( room 2111) was absolutely delightful. Nothing was too much trouble. She cleaned our room wonderfully and always left us with clean towels, bottles of water and was very creative with our nightwear on the bed! She was so friendly and had a beautiful smile. She is a credit to the housekeeping team. The rest of the hotel was spotless. Staff were always tidying up, sweeping and making sure that guests were having a great time. The outside workers around the snack bar and pool areas did an excellent job collecting glasses etc and keeping everywhere so clean. The lifeguards around the various pools and Waterpark were outstanding. They obviously had been given excellent training in health & safety but were a fun bunch who were friendly and made sure that you had a good time. The food was very good with a varied menu each meal time in the main restaurant which was always hot. Lots of different salads, hot dishes, vegetables, pasta, pizza, childrens nuggets, fish fingers etc and of course a wonderful array of desserts and fresh fruit. I honestly don’t know how anyone could complain about the food. The snack bar down at the pool was very good too. The 4 o’clock treat of waffles, icecream and toppings certainly went down a storm with everyone! The entertainment was fantastic. The animation team worked so hard everyday putting on all sorts of daily activities ranging from pool games to archery and boules. You name it, they did it! Then at night entertained us all with fantastic singing & dancing shows. Although the hotel is quite a way from the harbour, it can easily be walked along the pretty coastal path which takes about 40/45 minutes. You can also walk the other way along the beach path towards the airport. We found the hotel grounds very spacious and beautifully kept. Yes it was quite busy around the 2 main pool areas but there were lots of grassy areas which had sunbeds and brollys. There were also sunbeds & brollys along the waters edge. So you could always find a sunbed no matter what time of day it was. So all in all we had a wonderful holiday. We shall definitely be back very soon.
