Nice stuff and clean area , the hotel is very big with a lot of activities and areas to discover that you won’t get bored at all

Professionalism, friendliness, helpfulness of the staff. Elegant and modern environment. Very clean and well cared for. Very large structure with many activities. Beach a few meters. Lots of entertainment, clubs and shops for shopping in the area. Generous breakfast and with a very wide choice of food. Perfect hotel!

The staff are all so friendly. The animation team are all so nice and friendly, we saw some good shows with them. They always stop to speak and sit and chat to everyone. The food was nice and the room very spacious. The lobby bar for drinks was nice with plenty of seating to meet other guests and chat and drink

Arrived to find a 2 hour wait for our room, once we got access we found it filthy, delapidated and not fit for purpose. This was supposed to be a permium apartment which we paid extra for. We were told that our replacement room was the best suite in the hotel, after a further 2 half hors later we were allowed access. It was no better and just as filthy and the floor was left soaking wet from the so called cleaning staff, as we had been up and travelling for 48 hours, we didn't have the energy to move again, we just wanted to eat and get some sleep. From the first day i requested an iron, only to be told that there was only one iron and it was being used, this hotel guest had it for the week and wouldn't return it. Not 4 star standard. The Reception staff were rude and uninterested with any issues we had. Not 4 star standard. The cleaning was disgusting, i had to clean the bathroom myself before i could use it. not 4 star standard The overall state of the rooms reminded me of a back packers room, very run down, filthy, inadequate and certainly not a 4 star apartment. The food was hit and miss, more miss i'm afarid, chicken not cooked, other meats burnt to a cinder, the food was genually served cold and was very repetative and in some cases unedidable. Not 4 star standard The pool areas were normally overcrowded with not enough working sunbeds, they were again filthy. The top seawater pool was the quietest, however the bar did not provide drinks with the food they served, you had to go to one of the other bars for this, again not 4 star. No internet although in the hotel discription it states internet in all rooms throughout the hotel, again not 4 star standard. If we tried to walk around the shops and markets we were constanly harrassed by traders, in some cases trying to push us into thier shops, the hotel need to be made aware of this and bogus people who claim to be chefs in the hotel and try and con you into shopping in their friends shops claiming the hotel will give discounts. We did not enjoy our stay and experience in this hotel and would not reccomend anyone to stay here, the posstive review on here do not reflect the poor service from the staff and the very outdated, crumbling and dirty hotel. This hotel is a 2.5 star rating at most, certainly not a 4 star, this needs to be urgently assessed and downgraded.

First of all, some context. We have been to many countries around the world and have stayed in a variety of accommodation from 5-star luxury resorts in Asia to self-catering in Europe. We are a married couple and this was our first holiday with our new(ish) 3 month old baby. I don't usually write reviews as we generally have no complaints worth writing about but this hotel is lacking in so many areas that I feel compelled to warn travellers against booking this resort. Do not be taken in by the various positive reviews - underneath the surface this hotel is not worth the money and needs to address many issues, some of which are constantly brought up by other reviews and ignored completely. We arrived on Friday 18th October and immediately reported several issues (one of which was a lack of accessibility to our room as we had a buggy). Unfortunately the hotel did not respond to our direct email so we emailed our tour operators. It was only then that we received any communication, but this wasn't to us directly but via the tour operator, despite walking past reception many times and several staff members being aware of our issues but choosing not to get involved. To the hotel's credit they did offer us a room change but this had the same accessibility issues (steps into the room) so we declined. The other issue in our room was one of the shower taps either gave you boiling hot or cold water. We prevailed as the room was thankfully in a quiet corner (room 1132) and had another shower that worked normally. The food is terrible. Poor quality, poor choice and constantly regenerated food options from lunch to dinner. Under-cooked meat was served on several occasions and we noted one chef using the same utensil for meat and fish. There is a lack of labelling on some food items or the labels are generic and descriptions very vague ('fish' and 'cheese' is really not good enough). The cheese, in fact looks appalling (perhaps it tastes like cheese - I can't say), it looks nothing like cheese, nor does the ham (assuming it is turkey ham or some other meat type of unknown origin) and the fruit looks unwashed. The upstairs restaurant 'Tunisien' should offer local or traditional items but this ranged from Turkey or lamb kebabs, fried liver, fish heads and tails (who even eats those??) and rice (regenerated every day). There were no traditional desserts like maybe baklava or continental desserts, only bland ice cream and generic cakes (fruit-topped sponge) and the like. Breakfast is served in a downstairs restaurant (which is also the main restaurant for dinner) that is only accessible via a dozen stairs and this was another issue for us with a buggy so we had to eat in the previous restaurant at a later time for breakfast (and dinner) with limited options. There are omelette stations to their credit but no turkey bacon or sausages or other items you might expect for international guests, the bread, rolls and pastries are of poor quality. Very nice hotel, on arrival enquired about an upgrade from a one bedroom to a two bedroom so my son could have his own space. They very kindly did this at no extra charge to which my son was delighted. The room had plenty of space and enough amenities for us. Yes it didn’t have a fridge but we were not bothered. As my son settled in I tried out the bar facilities and they were brilliant and staff were fabulous. Dinner was served at 7pm and there was plenty of choice and you make of it as you please. Waiters were quick to assist you with drinks if needed and reset tables. Lovely walking around the hotel and seeing the Santorini-esque architecture. Everywhere was kept clean. Was there any bad parts, yes you can never have perfection. We were not told about the entertainment area, salt water pool and the restaurant facilities next to it. Would have been nice to be told. On the whole was pleasantly surprised, would I come again? Probably yes but not with teenagers.
