The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo

The staff at the hotel was exceptionally nice and helpful. The location is close enough to Yangshuo but also in a nice and quite area. It take around 20-30 minutes by foot to West Street but you can also use the free rental bikes, the free shuttle or take a taxi. The pool is very nice and clean, very suitable for swimming. The breakfast buffet was also really good with a nice variety. We enjoyed the view from the roof terrace every morning. The rooms are very spacious and clean with a nice and big bathroom as well. Everything was very well maintained and clean. There were a lot of other foreign tourists and the staff all spoke English.

What a lovely little hotel. Homely, the staff are friendly, helpful and the restaurant had awesome food options. We thoroughly enjoyed the setting, the romatic bath setting and your beautiful tea set❤️💙

Wonderful hotel about 15-20 minutes walk outside of Yangshuo. It's great being that far out as it's way more peaceful than being in the mad, crazy busy loud centre. I had a great room overlooking the mountains. Highly recommend

This is our second stay at bamboo leaf, we have loved the excellent quality of western food available at the hotel restaurant and good quality hotel breakfast that has both Chinese and western options. However since our previous stay 2 years ago there seems to have been a downgrade on the wifi speed, quite often it was impossible to run on our devices so most of the time we disconnected from their wifi. We stayed in a room with a bathtub however we were never able to have a hot bath as the hot water would be finished after running in 3cm of water. The location is great with a well maintained swimming pool and children’s play room, so very suitable for families.

We stayed at the Bamboo leaf for four night in March and couldn’t have been happier with the choice we made. We booked two deluxe Mountain View double rooms and on arrival we found the rooms to be spotless and well appointed. The hotel is relatively small, which is what we like, and the restaurant is located on the last floor. The food was ok and they have a good selection of drinks. To get to west street and the centre of town the hotel offers a free shuttle or you can walk for fifteen minutes and admire the Li river on your way. The staff is what made our stay so nice. All of them spoke English and they went the extra mile to assist us. They organised a cruise, a pick up from and to the airport, a driver for an excursion, an extremely good massage in the comfort of our rooms and suggestions on restaurants, walking paths and attractions. We would love to go back and spend again a few days in such a lovely place.

Flawless hotel, by far the best we stayed in during our 3 week trip in China. Everything was clean, beautifully decorated and with a really nice vibe - it felt like a hotel in the Carribean / Hawaii. The service from everyone was also exceptional, the staff were super friendly, helpful and lovely, especially the ladies in the restaurant on level 6, who looked after us so well! The food in the restaurant was also excellent and we really appreciated the Western options, which really tasted lime what we'd get back at home. We had been craving that after so much time away! Free breakfast options were great and it's by far the best free brekkie we've had in china. Good views of the karst landscape as well. The reception staff staff also extremely helpful With bookings and arranging activites and transport. We also loved the free hourly shuttle into town and free bicycle rental, which made everything so convenient. Overall, the hotel felt like a luxurious oasis away and the perfect base from which to explore yangshuo.

The hotel is located a 10-minute bike ride from downtown West Street. At the same time, the hotel itself is located in a quiet picturesque place. The room has all the amenities. The service staff is very polite, absolutely all the staff speaks English. The hotel has a delicious breakfast. And for a fee you can order food from the restaurant. The food is European, very tasty. There is a large swimming pool in the courtyard of the hotel. We were very satisfied and will definitely return to this hotel!
