Lihua Chen's Garden Hotel

It’s a small hotel just a small distance from the $20 Yuan tourist spot and the bamboo raft. Our room is clean but it face a construction site and was very close to the surrounding buildings so we had to close the curtains at all times. The bespectacled driver who pick us up at the train station was not friendly, he did not bother with any greeting. Thumbs up for the other driver who was much nicer and more cheerful. Halfway through our afternoon tea, they started doing fumigation so it was horrifying. The breakfast was not to our taste with limited choices.

A few steps to the river. Great view from the rooftop, spacious room. Very good service, very helpful staff. Free transfer to the train station and nearby local places. Hotel also arranged Xianggong mountain trip, it was seamless connection between car-ferry-car. Their restaurant besides was also good. We had all our meals there. Afternoon tea was simple but nice. We will choose to stay here again when we visit Xingping again.

We stayed at this hotel in late December 2024 for a family trip, and the experience was truly outstanding. The hospitality exceeded all our expectations. One day, my daughter forgot to bring her passport, and we were already at the train station. When we called the hotel for help, they went above and beyond - they personally retrieved the passport from our room and sent it to the train station. Their honesty, efficiency, and willingness to assist in such a stressful moment left a deep impression on us. Every staff member was warm, especially Xiao Xiong. They truly care about our comfort. One thing to note is that even though we booked all our rooms with river view, the view was partly blocked by bamboo trees and a road in front of the hotel. Staying on the 1st floor (only 5 floors in this hotel), we couldn't really enjoy the scenery as i originally expected. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend it to my friends.

Beautiful property near the 20 RMB spot. The service folks went above and beyond. Because this hotel is located near XiPing ancient town, there was free pick up and drop off from the hotel staff in the surrounding area like the railway station or XiPing Ancient Town. The hotel staff also coordinated activities for us for a fair price. The hotel staff treated us like we were family, suggesting itineraries and sending us reminders to visit around Guilin/Yangshuo area. I would stay again and highly recommend!!

It was a pleasure staying at this beautiful hotel, everything was great from the pickup at the yangshuo station, to the afternoon tea, to the evening snack; Everything was nice. The room was calm with a beautiful view. And the staff was always there when we needed help, I recommend doing the Xianggongshan Scenic spot the hotel helped us go there and what a view 🥺 Absolutely perfect ! Will comeback for sure !

An absolutely incredible stay at this Hotel. The staff were all so nice and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible! The rooms were super clean and they provide free water (and even sodas!!!) in the room. The pool area is very nice and a good place to cool down. The view from the top is also spectacular. The food they serve is delicious ( it‘s not worth going to XingPing town to eat…)
