Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist inakzeptabel, 30.000 Yen, also ca 180 Euro pro Nacht für eine 80ties Ausstattung ist ein völlig überzogener und nicht zu rechtfertigender Preis, zumal Frühstück und Dinner sowie ein Lunch-Paket mit jeweils mindestens 2.200 Yen, ca 13 Euro extra zu veranschlagen sind. Das Personal ist äußerst zuvorkommend, freundlich. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm.

第一次自己一個人出國，到屋久島參加自然體驗活動與外加自助旅行行程。 這趟行程來這家旅館住宿了兩次：第一次是在平臺上預訂了住宿；第二次則是因為與另一家預訂的旅社出現了突發狀況，臨時又來此住宿。 對於一個語言不通又第一次自己出國的外國旅人而言，在這裡感受到服務人員的友善親切。特別是櫃臺與餐廳的服務人員，都非常有耐心的等待我使用翻譯軟體來溝通，讓我感受到許多的溫暖。 旅館離機場很近，走路不到5分鐘就能抵達。館內的環境非常舒適，設備完善，大廳、房間、湯池、餐廳都很乾淨整潔，氛圍也很讓人感到很放鬆。 餐點需要另外加購預訂，用餐時會根據旅人人數給予適合的包廂。晚餐是有10道餐點的懷石料理，早餐是6道小菜加自助餐點(午餐我沒有訂過所以不清楚)。餐點除了有一些對我的口味來說有點偏鹹之外，大部分都非常好吃。尤其會使用一些在地的食材與調味料，會讓人更感受到與這個地方的連結感。 費用上，價格對於習慣住背包客棧的人來說，是偏高的。同時，住進來之後，覺得整體的環境與服務是非常值得這個價格。 對於想安靜放鬆慢旅行的旅人來說，如果經濟上寬裕許可，我非常非常推薦這家旅館！

An authentic onsen, at least it felt authentic to me, being no expert of Japanese culture. Traditional rooms, make sure to book one with the bath in the room. It’s not a fancy place, but really enjoyable. It reminded me of school trips, but in a weirdly positive way. The proximity to the airport was not an issue, didn’t hear the planes and there was no irritating traffic. The food was good and supposedly he’s as well. The massage provided on site was excellent as well, especially the gentleman masseuse was very skilled. The onsen is supposed to make you younger three years at every dip. Now I am not sure that actually perspired, but I did feel well rested, much better than when I arrived. I had an excellent experience and really cannot think of any negatives.

We spent 2 nights here at the beginning of March and absolutely loved it. We had two Japanese style rooms (one per person), with Tatami mats on the floor and Futons as a bed. We had a toilet, but a bit strangely no shower, which was not a problem, because in the indoor and outdoor baths, there are good shower facilities. The rooms are a bit small, but totally okay for one person (for two persons it would be a bit crowded). The indoor and outdoor baths are lovely and as usual, separated by gender. We had halfboard included, which was amazing. Dinner is a several courses Kaiseki dinner, and really tasty and diverse. If you dont eat meat, seafood and fish, you will not be happy however. Breakfast is a japanese bento box, and a small buffet. For lunch, you can order a bento box, which we did, and which was very tasty and the best bento box I had so far in 3 trips to Japan. Staff is very friendly, and even if they dont speak much englisch, they really go out of their way to help. The Ryokan is just opposite the small airport, where there is also a bus stop. In easy walking distance there are two supermarkets, and a very good italian restaurants (Il Mare), which make excellent pizza and pasta, using local ingredients like shitake mushrooms and boar meat. The buses run very unfrequently, so you are better off with a rental car. Its excellent value for money, especially if you love japanese food.

空港から本当に歩いて1分すぐ隣にレンタカーもあります。 温泉は広く露天風呂もあり清潔でした。 食事は気取ったお料理ではなく、優しいお味で新鮮なお刺身や海の幸は最高でした。お肉も本土とはまた違うお味の美味しいものでした。お弁当の手配を頼んだのですが、2種類から選べて良かったです。 そして何よりスタッフさんが親切でした。帰ってから買い忘れたお土産に気づき連絡すると、商品代金と最低の送料だけで送ってくださいました。

　自宅のある北海道から飛行機を３本乗り継いで屋久島空港に着いたのは、午後５時。旅行一日目は、ほぼ移動だけで終わろうとしています。その屋久島の初めの宿に選んだのが、縄文の宿まんてんです。 　屋久島空港から徒歩１分の場所に位置しているので、私たちの旅程にはぴったりの立地でした。 　私たちは２食付きのプランだったので、温泉でゆったりと汗を流し、おいしい食事も満喫できました。食事は屋久島感があるもので、１日目にはとびうおの姿揚げ的な料理が出て、とびうおのおいしさを実感しました。 　こちらのお宿には２連泊しましたが、１日目と２日目の料理はほぼすべてが違っていました。屋久島観光の拠点に数泊する人が多いのでしょう。連泊にも、十分に対応できるお宿です。

　私たちの屋久島観光前半のお宿は、空港から徒歩１分のところにある「縄文の宿まんてん」でした。夕方便で到着したので、空港のすぐそばという立地がうれしいお宿です。 　私たちの部屋はツインルームで、建物の一番奥の方にありました。ツインルームとしてはごく普通な感じでした。 　このお宿でよかったのは温泉とお食事処です。屋久島と言えば登山やトレッキングですが、疲れて宿に戻ってきて広い温泉に浸かることができるのはよかったです。お食事処は、すべて個室でした。私たちは２泊しましたが、夕食のメニューは違っていて、それでいて鹿児島や屋久島の食材が生かされている料理でした。１日目には「トビウオの姿揚げ」があって、特徴的な羽まで食べられるんです。 　料金と比較するとコスパは高いとは言えませんが、まあ、屋久島価格としては妥当なんでしょうね。

素泊まりでも、日帰り温泉でも充分に休める。いまは近くにコスモスがあるので、ビールを買ってきて素泊まりで利用しても良いかもしれない。食事も美味しいので旅行プランにあわせて利用してほしい。あと、屋久島の宿は何処も朝方にバタバタするので耳栓必須だ。1階に泊まったが朝方に2階の物音で起きてしまった。私も昨日はそうだったのかと、お互い様という気持ちを持って過ごす事をオススメする。
