Booking a stay at this hotel was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at any hotel. We booked a number of days in advance. We were travelling from Orlando and arrived just before midnight. After a long drive, we were shocked to find that they had given our room away. It was even worse because we were travelling with a child. I should have realized something was up when the man at the front desk started his greeting with the words, "What's up?" When I was told that they had given our room away, I asked if we could have any other room, even one with a single bed that all three of us could sleep on. I was told they did have one other room we could try. When I went to the room, it was very unnerving to drive around and park in an area that was completely isolated. It was like you were in an industrial area as there were many transport trucks parked there as well, but absolutely no atmosphere of safety and welcome. I kept my daughter and my wife locked in the car as I went to the room. When I arrived there, the beds weren't even made. I returned to the front and was greeted again with "What's up? " this time with a more annoyed tone, as both times I entered, he was sleeping on a chair in the back. I was offered another room, but this time, as the pictures below will show, there were stains on the bed that look like body fluids that have not been washed off. We were so tired and discouraged that we debated on staying in this room, but fortunately, my wife said no way. We tried to call the front desk with the hotel line, but the phone never worked. The other picture that I have provided shows the towels that were left for us. While we' were waiting, my daughter turned on the television, and that never worked. When we opened the fridge to put, our water in, we found that the fridge was filthy. We left. There was a little empathy when we spoke to the man and all he said was, " here's your refund."" I wish that's where the story ended, but it actually got worse, if that seems possible. When I checked my bills, a few days later, I noticed that they only refunded a portion of the charges, and to add insult to injury, they actually charged us for a second night as well. Our reservations clearly said that we had a one night stay. When I contacted customer service, I was shocked at their responses. I had to call three times to get any responses. In the end, they refused to pay the extra five dollars that they charged on the refund, saying that the US dollar exchange rate had changed. I've never heard of anything like this in my life from any other company. They said that all that they could offer for the night that they charged us fraudulently for, was credit on a PayPal account. I don't even have a PayPal account. They said I could call the hotel directly. This was ridiculous considering they had tried to call them themselves three times and said that they couldn't get through. That was the reasoning why I could not get the money returned to my credit
