Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole

My wife and I had a wonderful trip through Yellowstone and JacksonHole. We stayed for 2 nights at the Four Seasons in Jackson. We like the chain and have had great experiences in other placês. But the one in Jackson Hole was really frustrating. Their breakfast service is very bad. Rude service, few bread options, no variety of cheese or ham , which is unthinkable for a 5-star hotel. And they also charged us different prices for an espresso on the 2 days we had breakfast. And in the end, the checkout experience was very unpleasant. They made 3 pre-authorizations in my credit card for expenses (since the accommodation is prepaid). The pre-authorized total was double the actual expenses. And the worst thing is that they lied and said that the 1st pre-authorization had not been completed. Really unnecessary and unpleasant. We left the hotel very disappointed.

Epitomizing the John Muir quote, Going to the Mountains is going Home.” The Four Seasons didn’t disappoint. Our stay was brief, yet memorable. The highlight was dinner in the Grill, primarily due to our amazing server Shannon. I am especially critical of meals, expecting service to be equitable with the price. Shannon was top-notch, professional, and left a lasting impression on our overall experience. On many occasions, one negative incident sets the tone for the entire stay; this was the complete opposite…one positive dining experience will be forever remembered and will always be associated with the Four Seasons Jackson Hole.

Kind staff, excellent location, good food, nice large room. No major complaints. Resort lacks family activities and seems to lack character (ie, compare to Montage Big Sky or Ritz Bachelor Gulch). Many aspects of the resort were not yet open (this is not the case at Montage for example despite colder climate). Overall, feel this location is resting on its laurels and is far overpriced for amenities provided.

Everyone was so kind, helpful, friendly, and really made us feel welcome. I never thought I’d get to go to Wyoming but now I’m itching to go back and going to try and stay in a Four Seasons on my next vacation.

Breakfast service was very slow, even when I ordered a coffee and muffin to go. The majority of the bar wait staff does not have sufficient knowledge of spirits. I asked for a vodka and cranberry juice, and the young man looked very confused and asked "what do you mean". I repeated my order. He returned with a Cosmo.

I would say this is one of the below average four seasons I have stayed at, and I have stayed at many of them. The hotel is overpriced simply because it’s geared to skiing. But if you put this resort into a major city, it would feel like an average hotel. Service has been very spotty but it might be due to smaller local workforce. Haven’t really enjoyed our stay here.

Went as family of four (kids are ages 10 and almost 9) for four nights over Indigenous People’s Day weekend, and I believe the price of the room was half of what it would have been if we traveled in August. So that’s always nice. Plus, the changing of the leaves more an already scenic place even more magical. We loved the hotel for many reasons. The room we got was big and, therefor, very comfortable. It had a great view of the ski trails / mountains. Bathroom was big with all the amenities. Huge closet for storage. Nice coffee/tea area with new boxed water supplied daily. The lobby was tastefully decorated with lots of beautiful Western-inspired art. We loved have our morning coffee/tea by the fireplace. Kids enjoyed the complimentary s’mores package. We loved pool area and hot tubs— beautiful setting among the Aspen trees which were turning bright yellow. (They were closing down the pool for the season though on our last day!) The restaurants were also both excellent. Finally, we appreciated getting use of the house car, which we used to explore the town of Jackson. I think timing our trip in early October was perfect, as it was not crowded at the hotel and made things easier for us (like use of the car). We also did the Wildlife Safari Tours of Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Booked through concierge but with an outside company. We didn’t ask for a private tour, but they were both private! Plus they were half of the cost of what the concierge was charging. This was the way to go!!

Beautiful, beautiful setting- and fantastic accomodations. The service here is top, top notch. In the dining room particularly, which I utilized every day of my stay, AJ - my server for dinner- was so professional, caring, and just above and beyond in every way imaginable. Karina, my breakfast server was great, as was the dining room manager Nicholas Hanson and Lena . The Four Seasons is always great, but at this location, it's the staff that make it so.

INCREDIBLE RESORT !! Troy the assistant manager went out of his way to help us & made our stay one for the books! Thank You Troy!! You are a beacon to the FS Resort. The Food is beyond delicious and the staff & hospitality is very accommodating. The ski lift is right outside the resort & very easy access to town. Thank You to all of the staff at the FS Jackson Hole! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
