Wuhan Meilian Holiday Inn (Jianghan Road Wuhan International Plaza)

this is a well established hotel just beside of the well known pedestrian street Jianghan, just 5min walk to metro station, with rent bicycle available all around station and beyond. Lawsons is also very near.Hotel lobby is of a grand classical style and lifts fitting royals, room amenities more than one can expect, all was just amazing. Pagoda and bridge was the best. but Jianghan street daily overcrowded, with 5x more ppl than it can accommodate, same with Gode temple.

The staffs were friendly, helpful and efficient in their work. The premises were kept in tip top condition and spotless, a feeling of brand new. The hotel lobby was simply magnificent. Made me felt like a VIP. The breakfast at the revolving restaurant was without question superb - wide range of Chinese, Western and local specialities. The Metro station entrance was only 5 minutes walk. Between the station and the hotel were full of eateries, convenient stores and flowers shops. This hotel is highly recommended. My wife and I had a lovely time. See Yem Kan

It’s a wonderful hotel , very near to Jianghshan pedestrian street which many different local foods and activities. Night life as well. The staff are so friendly. I highly recommend it

The staff were very helpful at check in and accommodating for me and my roommate arriving at different times. It was close to where I needed to be although very difficult to have a taxi drive up to the entrance as the opposite exit is blocked leading to a 10 point turn in a very cramped parking area. As far as the room and amenities go it was poor. The AC is very old and cannot control or change the temperature well, even on the lowest setting the room was uncomfortably hot so this was pretty bad as it was 38 degrees for most of my stay. I had many other friends staying in the hotel with a similar problem either too hot or too cold and so I didn’t see the point in trying to change to another room. There is very little light in the room only lamps and no main light so difficult to see clearly especially at night and cannot do make up etc. there is a big old fashion console next to the bed that is impossible to turn off with a bright green clock and the clock kept sounding an alarm every other hour and an ayi helped me to turn off the alarm only for it to continue. The light switches are very difficult to find how to turn on and off and the sockets for charging electrical appliances did not work at all except one very far from the mirror. My card for turning on the power to the room also rarely worked and I had to play around with it. When I asked to have it looked at I was told to just play around with it…. Bathroom also had a lot of other hair in it from previous guests. The price and location are reasonable but I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it — especially when the weather is really hot or really cold because the temperature control is terrible inside rooms. I give the staff a good rating but the condition and working order of the amenities a thumbs down.

Good location, not too far from subway, affordable rooms and very friendly staff at reception. The room was clean and very cozy. The only thing that was a bit confusing is the hairdryer. I guess it's very old, but that doesn't matter. It was broken. Overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I'd like to stay at Meilian again if I go to Wuhan one day.

The hotel is close to the metro, a mall, and a flower street. The room was clean and comfortable, and service was friendly. Perfect for a short stay in Wuhan.
