Wrexham North (A483)

We have often stayed here as we have family nearby. Usual Premier Inn standards but no lift and no air con although the room had a fan. The evening meal at The Beeches was K in the evening but service wasn't the best. We had to wait over 20 minutes to order a dessert. However the service at breakfast the next day was great . The receptionist was welcoming and offered to book us in for the meals. Good location for bus routes to the cities of Wrexham and Chester. Free parking too unlike other hotels in the area.

Comfortable and quiet hotel. Breakfast is ok (maybe not one of the best Premier Inn standard though). Gentleman on reception friendly and helpful. Just a note for EV drivers, the rapid charger does not accept cards and the phone signal is weak, so paying on line not easy without using hotel WiFi.

We found it to be a quiet comfortable place. It isn’t fancy but suited our need for a good nights sleep . The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Very convenient and tasty restaurant on site.

Great hotel, fantastic staff, clean spacious room, we have been staying at this Premier Inn for over 20 years and each time is as good if not better than the previous visit

Hotel was easy access off the A483 on arrival was met by a friendly receptionist,room was clean bed comfy only downside was no Aircon ther was a fan in the room but bit noisy, breakfast was a disappointment compared to other premier inn that we have stayed in

What's happened to The Beeches & Premier Inn ? Visited a year ago (September '23). The 'bar area' has now lost a big old easy chair and now consists of an old settee, one easy chair, various stools and a high table and (4) chairs. Being too early for our Table we were advised to use the said 'bar area'. A Couple and a Singleton took up the available space; I asked if we could sit at a table to finish or drinks before our meal. Not possible. When we did sit for our meal there were a number of vacant tables and the 'breakfast area' where we could have sat. We simply wanted reasonable seating. There was also a note on the Entrance door to The Beeches advising they were only dealing in cash - this was, we were told by another customer, been the situation for three weeks. We were not advised at reception, and there was nothing on the Webpage. Luckily we had a meal-deal otherwise we would have been in a difficult situation. The new menus (not wipe-clean type) have also seen better days.

Used as a stop over for my son & I when have a weekend motorbike trip, good location, pub on site which was handy, plenty of parking , staff ok, meal deal was good value, look clean enough. As an older building the noise from the room above was a bit annoying (its a small room how can people walk around so much) apart from that it was ok & we would use again.

A perfectly located hotel for my needs. Clean and with a fairly good cooked breakfast in the morning. Car parking was rather busy, due to people going to the restaurant sharing the same hotel car park. Otherwise all ok.
