Solitary Islands Resort - Caravan Park

Love this place. But 2nd year in a row now I can ser the maintenance required at the park. Female Shower facilities near the pool area are unusable, you wait 10min for hot water to even come through, and it is a dribble of water, the toilets do not allow for a full flush so there is always toilet paper sitting in the bowl from the previous person. This facility block needs a complete upgrade as this renders the 5 unisex showers near the camp kitchen the only ones available for guests without a cabin/ensuite site. More shade is needed near the pool area, then you wouldn't have an issue with the cabanas! Overall staff are lovely and to see the same friendly faces is so nice year to year, and a credit to the owners/ management of the park. They all serve you so well and you should be proud of their attentiveness, happiness and overall just good people. Movie nights are a massive hit with the kids as well as the late night slides, would love more of these. Aside from the above, we have still booked to come back next year and look forward to it. Hopefully, with some of the points above addressed!

Great resort! Fabulous for families with pool swimming, river frontage with kayaks and fishing! Short drive to the beaches. The cabana booking system is good however should be free for others if guests don't arrive within 10-15 mins of booking. Quite often guests didn't arrive for their booking...this could also be alleviated with shade sails around areas eg near the Beach Bench at the pool entrance. Great facilities at the camp kitchen could do with a couple more fans though. Mossies are an issue with the tropical climate but great that the area is sprayed daily. Just pack a good tropical strength personal spray! 383 restaurant awesome and great for families with a huge play area for the kidlets! Loved it.... it was our 2nd year and we have booked again for next year!

Great park for a relaxing stay on the river , we have stayed many times before and loved it , not this time , the people camped next to us thought our site was the place to be , they should have booked a different site to the one they booked , still a beautiful place to stay , shame they spoilt what could have been a great place for a holiday

It's a great location next to the river with lush established gardens in between all the sites and cabins to provide a bit of privacy. Not your average caravan park. Our ensuite cabin was perfect for two with a small deck out front but it's a great park for families too. You can use their canoes for 2 hours for free. Launch straight into the river. The owners have built a new restaurant and bar out the front called "The 383". It is a really interesting design made out of containers and a great addition to Wooli. Food was fair and coffee was good. Opens at 7am from Thursday to Sunday. Good range of craft beers too.

Awsome place to holiday. caravan sites are very roomy. Very neat and tidy. Toilet and showers very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of trees for shade. Will be telling all my friends how good the park is. Children love all the play area. Will be holidaying there quite a bit thats for sure.

This resort / park is absolutely fantastic!! The service right from when you book is wonderful , professional and very friendly. Nothing was a problem. My family of 4 stayed in a cabin, everything was perfect down to the linen and quality products and facilities. The facilities in the park are outstanding and the new cafe 383 was just superb. Again, wonderful service, friendly staff and great food and wine very reasonably priced, oh and a playground for the kids while you enjoy your meal. Access to the river by boat, also great!
