Originally built in 1905, and surrounded by 30 acres of beautiful gardens, this former country house offers free Wi-Fi, free car parking, and log fires in the drawing room. It features a beauty and wellbeing studio, restaurant, terrace bar, as well as conference and banqueting facilities.
Rooms at the Petwood Hotel feature an private bathroom with a hairdryer. They also include a TV, radio, tea/coffee making facilities and some rooms have garden views.
The Restaurant serves fine cuisine influenced by locally sourced produce. The hotel famous for its RAF connection, and was used in World War II by the 617 Squadron. You can visit the Squadron Bar to view memorabilia and tributes to the officers. The Squadron Bar is also available for private hire.

When I think about the amount of money we have spent here, today made me realise what fundamental and basic management panache is missing. So it's VE 80 event. Absolutely rammed and in anticipation of this, do management open up the function room bar, which is way bigger? No, instead, fools like me queued for 35 minutes at the insufficient small bar which acts as front of house. I scolded my finger because the coffee area isn't big enough to house trays. I had to carry my alcohol over to the tray after coffee had been added and the tray toppled over. Its a good job those poor young bar staff are professional in the absence of invisible weak management. You really need a wake up call after today because everyone in that queue was shocked that you hadn't anticipated and managed the logistics of such a large event.

The hotel is lovely with fantastic grounds to walk on. It is blessed with many WW2 memorabilia of the 617 squadron displayed in the original Squadron bar. The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. The food was of exceptional quality, the staff friendly, a special mention of John the duty manager who was wonderful. We loved the place and will be returning.

Stayed here a few times now.we love the ambience of the place and it is steeped in history.the gardens are beautiful.the food is wonderful and the staff are so helpful and smiley. The rooms are comfortable and have all you need for a lovely stay.

I’d love to spend the night here but on this occasion I visited for coffee after visiting a little cinema nearby. We just had coffee but there was so much to see in this historic and elegant hotel. This was once the home of 617 Squadron and the Dambusters, hence the many photographs in the bar about that era. The gardens are lovely and I’d imagine this is a great venue for special occasions. Can’t wait to return as Woodall Spa is a beautiful little town.

A truly unique and beautiful hotel set in gorgeous grounds. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The meals lovely and beautifully presented. The hotel is unique because the Dambusters were staying there during World War 2, with lots of history about the squadron and Guy Gibson.

Been coming to Petwood occasionally since 1991 primarily for the aviation interests. Love the atmosphere, enjoy sitting on the terrace in the sunshine with a pint. I was in room 204 classified as a Garden room but it was the side or entrance garden view & not looking down the main garden as I have done before. A slight disappointment but no big deal.

Stayed 2nights at the Petwood as part of a golfing trip with friends to the area where we played Seacroft, Woodhall Spa and Lincoln. The Hotel was ideally located. The price was fantastic, the Hotel itself exceptional and the breakfast filled me up till dinner time. Great sleep quality and a comfy bed too. The bar was quiet but friendly and the gardens incredible.

Stayed at the Petwood as part of a visit for the J Jane Lancaster bomber ride at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage centre. The hotel was very comtable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms facing the garden are excellent and the restaurant and bar were both very enjoyable. The hotel has lots of history related to the dam busters and it has been preserved really well. Gardens are superb and we will definitely be visiting again.
