Originally built in 1905, and surrounded by 30 acres of beautiful gardens, this former country house offers free Wi-Fi, free car parking, and log fires in the drawing room. The Squadron Bar is also available for private hire. Home of England Golf, the Woodhall Spa Golf Club is a 5-minute drive from the Petwood Hotel. Guests can enjoy a stroll through the historic town, take afternoon tea and lunch on the hotel's terrace, or enjoy a range of beauty treatments. The hotel is only a 2-minute stroll from Jubillee Park, where you can go swimming and play tennis. Nice room very comfortable four poster bed, nice view over the gardens. But would eat elsewhere if I visited again, very disappointed with our anniversary meal it rather spoilt our stay, the restaurant manager was not too pleased that we complained

We arrived home today after an exceptional two day break at The Petwood. Check-in was easy with pleasant receptionists dealing with our booking. Our room was well equipped with all we needed. Evening meals were delicious, with exceptional service , especially Karen, who remembered us from previous visits . Breakfast was good with a great choice of hot and cold options. I must mention the pleasant ladies of housekeeping, always a pleasant good morning from them. Checkout was easy , with , again, pleasant Receptionists. We will return in the future

Been here many times, great place to stay always find it a most relaxing stay. The history is always interesting and many paintings add feel. The only down side was the sachets of coffee were horrible. Last time I stayed there was coffee bags, which were a lot better.

Our overnight stay was great! The welcome from the reception team was warm and friendly. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had dinner in the restaurant and everyone enjoyed their meal. The history of the RAF from the second World War and the memorabilia found in the hotel was really thought provoking. My wife’s Father was in the RAF and we both found the connection moving. We would recommend The Petwood if you are ever in Lincolnshire.

We had an overnight stay in this lovely historic building. Excellent staff. Wonderful food and drinks. Room was very comfortable good bed linen and towels. Dinner was delicious and wine very good selection to choose from. The grounds are lovely to walk around. Bar area and lounges very comfortable with history all around.

The Petwood manages to combine elegance with a welcoming charm. We are regular guests here as we love it so much. The bedrooms are spacious as is the bar area with open fires and a smart dining room where you are served excellent food accompanied by classic tunes played on the nearby grand piano. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also good. The gardens are beautifully landscaped, akin to gardens in a stately home. The historic links with Guy Gibson and the Dambuster attacks are proudly preserved.

Comfortable, clean rooms with lovely views of the gardens. Good food and service with a really cosy atmosphere. Plenty of historic interest.

Such a lovely hotel. Been here twice this year. Will be definitely coming back next year. We love it there. So clean. Beautiful gardens. Staff are all lovely. Food is out of this would. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We spent our 25th silver wedding anniversary at The Petwood hotel. What a fantastic place for making wonderful memories. The hotel steeped in history, our bedroom overlooking the beautiful gardens, the food was all excellent too. Every member of staff was extremely helpful in making our stay a wonderful experience. The opportunity to take our pet was an added bonus to engage in walks around the grounds. Overall thank you Petwood hotel for making our silver wedding anniversary a very special one. We will return again for another visit soon.
