Let's just say that I was initially excited to stay at what I believed to be a Grand Hotel. ( I did Actually find a great hotel that I'll refer to at the end). So back to this review... I quickly learned that there was nothing "grand" about Eurostar Montgomery, Brussels. It was a horrid. For starters, there is not much close by. Aside from the filtered sunny pics, Upon reaching the hotel, you will notice that the main entryway only has stairs and lacks a ramp or assistants ( which is difficult if you have luggage). It is staffed by 2 persons at a small (did I mention small) reception desk. The granduer and lighting in the advertisement seemed to have apparently been shot with soft bright lighting at a very - very wide angle in order to make it appear larger. As for the reception? I mean, I have traveled extensively and heard of tourist bias, yet the experience of hatred as I received at the Eurostar Montgomery, Brussels was a first of its kind. To summarize, As a non french speaking tourist, my speech was mocked and I was berated for having a disability by Mgr Sarah. I requested to cancel. I was still shown their hotel rooms. They were musty with no access bar for a very steep tub, no mattress covers and what appeared to be Bed Bug powder in the seats and throughout. I was then told by Mgr Sarah that I would receive a cancellation exception and be refunded, and was instructed to send them an email to confirm the cancellation request. I was kept waiting for hours in a hostile reception area, and had an asthma attack from the cigarette smoke in their falsely advertised " smoke free facility". To my horror, I was literally threatened with bodily harm when I attempted to document the experience. Please be careful and don't believe what you read on the internet. This is not the upscale h hotel they advertise themselves to be. Overall, They ruined my stay and I had to cut my time short due to medical complications caused by them. I desire all to enjoy their hotel stay and issue this warning that this hotel is involved in shady billing and false ads. They will send you thru an endless loop of emails and unfullfilled promises a refund and while not rectifying their deplorable practices or hotel. I gratefully managed to book a hotel at a Wonderful hotel and it was night and day! The other hotel Starts with a NH and ends in what a flower does in Springtime). I hope this helps someone.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have been satisfied (that’s why I came back). To my shock this time they gave me a room right at the tram track. See photo. I would upload a video also but it doesn’t seem to be possible. Trams run frequently, are very noisy and shake the room. And they wouldn’t give me another room. The cleaning staff had left, was the reason. So, no sleep in this room. The room is otherwise good. Except the strong mouldy smell in the bathroom.
