Premier Inn Chelmsford (Boreham)

We only stayed for one night but can not fault our stay in any way. We normally stay at hilton or IHG Hotels. Although the premier inn didn't have the same facilities, this hotel was on par for other reasons. The room we stayed in, 115, was spotless. The bed was so comfortable, the bedding was spotless, the hand-wash and body wash smelled lovely, and i was just disappointed they didn't have the body lotion. Although the towels were smaller than 4 star Hotels, they were clean and of a lovely quality. The staff were lovely, and more tea and coffee were readily available in reception. We needed an iron, and Nadisha kindly bought one up to our room. Breakfast was excellent. Althoughsone was cooked and put out, it was constantly used and replaced very quickly, which guaranteed it was piping hot. Nadisha did so well keeping a ready supply and cooking it to perfection. Nadisha, Jo and Harry were all really friendly and nothing was too much for them. I would definitely stay here again for the friendliness, cleanliness, and comfort.

Third time staying here (I always ask for a quiet room, away from the A12!). I appreciate the warmth of the welcome and the friendly, efficient service at breakfast. Large, comfy rooms which all have baths; very competitive cost - what's not to like?

Stayed with my family, and the family room setup was good, beds were comfy and room was clean. Breakfast onsite was great and the restaurant next door is available for lunch and dinner. Check in went smoothly and staff were helpful and always available to answer any queries. Were always greeted in a friendly manner upon reentering the hotel. Free car parking was available on site.
