This place seems to exist in 1971. At least one floor features long-term tenants (including families with many small children). I had to see three rooms before we found one with working electrical outlets. I was fine with all of this -- I needed a cheap, basic place that was centrally located, and, of course, you get what you pay for.
What I wasn't fine with was when, while I was working in the room and my friend was away running errands, I was notified that we had one hour to evacuate the room due to an "emergency fumigation operation." I don't even want to know what that was all about. We frantically packed up our stuff and were shown a new room -- on the floor with the families -- and said room was almost as disgusting as the first two we were shown. Even if you're on a budget, I would say just don't bother with this place.

The hotel itself is in due need of repairs, we were met with rowdy tenants of all ages, our wild with the details that the building holds such as old timy chandlers,staircases.
I would say the heart and soul of this place would be the restaurant it is just gorgeous the stained glass surrounding the restaurant along with all the other tiny details carved into the podiums. Been better for the price half of our order was burnt during lunch and breakfast was greasy.

酒店很舊，酒店門外很多流浪的人或者閑雜人員，治安感覺不好，半夜好幾次被酗酒或者大吵大鬧的人聲吵醒，非常不適合住。洗澡的水時冷時熱，也沒有熱，最多就是温水，大部分是涼水。馬桶沖水聲像爆炸一樣，非常吵！以後都不會再訂這家酒店，不推薦。

酒店是一棟很有年代感的建築，服務人員很棒，當她得知我覺得房間很吵的時候，她帶我去看了另外三個房間，我最後選定了一間安靜的，可是，房間裏，有蟑螂，當我開燈的一瞬間，我就拍死了它，不過還好後來沒有發現別的蟲子，房間真的需要清理乾淨，尤其是地毯。

Booked this hotel as it is close to the Canada Life Centre. Although the elevator was awful, stopping on random floors & jolted alot... The staff did allow us to have an early check in & were very nice (security located near the front desk was also super nice). The location is good, the historic sites is desirable. The price is worth it, although the deposit is quite high for a very end of it's time hotel. They will tell you they have a system to wake you up, but what they won't tell you is it is by phone & doesn't often work. We almost missed our flight. Overall a very average hotel, and I would probably book agian (when in Winnipeg) for the location.

Don't go . Creepy staff. Felt unsafe . I'm an Elder horrible service in general. Don't recommend to anyone. Alot of undesirable practices here. I would discourage anyone to stay here. Our First Nations need to do better to ensure the safety of all our members. DO Not send them here.
