Food: While the food tastes amazing, the portions are very small and the prices are quite high. After a 3-course meal, I still found myself going to bed hungry, which might not be ideal for many Namibians. "

"We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Uhland. It is located in a quiet area just slightly outside the Windhoek city center, which makes for a peaceful environment. The rooms are surprisingly large, very clean, and come well-equipped with A/C and a mini-fridge. The staff members are incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. There is also a nice swimming pool on-site. Breakfast is the standard spread you’d expect in Namibia—simple but good."

Windhoek Game Camp

"Very nice high quality camp. Everything is to a high standard, from cleanliness (probably the cleanest pool in Namibia) to the very friendly staff. We felt immediately at home. Everything was very unvomplicated and therefore made our stay very relaxing. A special experience is the visit of the Orix and Giraffes directly at the camp for breakfast. If we visit Namibia again we will be back"

Etango Ranch Guest Farm

"We booked this last minute as did not want to stay in original.hotel that we had reserved wanted to be cl9servto airport so not such an early wake up. We drove down dirt track unfortunately new road being built right beside ranch but that did not take away the pleasant surprise quiant rustic ranch quiet too seeing as right by airport. The rooms are basic but clean and comfy only 8 little bungalows in cpurtyard believe more luxury there too. There was a sitting area outside small but ok bar and large lounge breakfast room. We had booked evening meala as not eaten all day. No choice it was set menu cauliflower soup was lovely would of been nice to have bread with it main was steak with pepper sauce and chips or wedges and broccolli pudding sponge and custard the swimming pool was mot clean but thats because out of season their winter so closed they had ostrichs and cattle and horses on the ranch no smell from any. Staff very polite courteous and friendly all in all nice 9ne night stay "

Villa Moringa Guesthouse

"Definitely not worth 5 stars! The entire building is extremely overdue. Broken chairs and sunbeds, mold running from the pools. The breakfast was very poor. Some fruit, white bread and yogurt without bowls to put it in. We had a good laugh about it and are glad we went out for a nice meal last night instead of eating here. The room was full of dead moths, but was okay for a night. Few staff walking around and those walking around can't even say hello."
