環境：漂亮的英式老房子，內部精緻小巧、整潔幹淨，很多可愛的小擺件。 設施：床品温暖，毛巾雪白，免費氣泡水、歡迎牛奶。有熱水壺，床頭USB插座。 餐點：早餐七八種套餐可選，全英式的非常豐盛，甚至可以選擇低卡咖啡、低卡茶！ 服務：房東很和善、紳士，會用漢語講「煎蛋」、「荷包蛋」哦。

平常不寫評論的我…衹能説這個價格在Bowness是撿到了，非常棒的酒店，每一處都能看到細節和用心，超出預期。

非常普通的民宿，沒有絲毫可取之處。 不明白為何前面評價那麼高，嚴重被誤導。 價格定的也是莫名其妙的高， 遠不如湖邊和鎮上的酒店。

我是和對象一起來旅遊選擇的這家旅店，實際居住體驗遠遠超過我的想象，服務態度一流，老闆耐心向我們介紹了周邊景點和交通，房間佈置也十分漂亮，早餐味道很好，這是我目前住過的體驗感最好的旅店！

What a lovely place is St Johns Lodge, made all the better by being run by Rich and Ada, who were lovely, and couldn't do enough for us. The room was very tastefully decorated, very comfortable. The bathroom was large, and the shower easy to get into, and loads of lovely hot water. The breakfasts were the best we've had, and Rich and his team did everything to make it perfect, even managing to get coffee to my husbands liking (a very difficult feat!!). They provide a very useful folder that has places of interest to visit, restaurants and walks in the area. They were very easy to talk to and I cannot recommend this guest house highly enough.

Would definitely recommend St. John’s Lodge to anyone looking to visit Windermere. Great location and lovely service!

Ada and Rich both very friendly and accommodating, amazing breakfast cooked fresh to how you want it (don’t get that in bigger hotels). Room was comfortable and the addition of access to the health club was a great touch.

For the the very beginning to the end, our stay at St Johns Lodge was amazing. We were welcomed in an extremely friendly way, with personal service from the very go. We had been given a free uograde to the supreme king room and what ablively room it is, clean, comfy bed, good sized tv and very nice bathroom. The bed was so comfy my wife fell asleep at 930pm( the walking and wine may also have contributed to this!!!) Breakfast was gorgeous, i had full english and the wife bacon, eggs and has browns, all washed down with as much fruit juice or tea and coffee as you wanted. There was also a cold buffet of fruit, cereals and yogurts. This place is perfect for a nice walk up to Windermere or a stroll down to Bowness and all the restaurants, pubs and activitelies. All in all a fantastic stay and will defo book here again.

Value for money. Hospitable hosts who make every effort to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Stayed at this property several times in different rooms. Never disappointed & staff are the best. Great breakfast, parking, health club facilities & in easy walking distance to the lake, bars & restaurants & shops. We will return, again.

Lovely and spotless guest house, ideally situated between Windermere and Bowness. Rich was very informative and very helpful. Lovely fresh breakfast with lots of choice. Thanks for a great 3 days would highly recommend.

Overall, we were very pleased with our 2-night stay. Excellent location. We mostly walked to sites that were nearby. The room was comfortable and clean and we slept well. There is parking onsite as well as down the road--this was somewhat stressful when we first arrived, as it was quite difficult to get into the one remaining space on site--it requires some maneuvering and the location is right by a low-visibility bend in the road with cars zipping by and lots of pedestrians as well. Would not have been an issue with one of the other two spots, however; we did not try the other parking down the road, but that would not have been very convenient given we had a lot of luggage. One minor complaint: there is a lit sign that appeared to be on all night and brought some ambient light into our room (which was close to the sign); I didn't complain about it, but the owners might consider turning the sign light off at night (at least late in the night). The owners were friendly and responsive and did a load of laundry for us at a very reasonable rate. Where this place really shines is the breakfast: they have many options and really go above and beyond. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
