Camping Municipal L'Olympic

Nice well laid out site with good clean basic facilities. Close to beach and town. Lovely French bread delivery every morning. Make sure you’ve got 25€ cash for shower key which is returned. I’ve stayed here a good few times and always enjoyed it.

We arrived in Wimereux on a Sunday around 5.30pm - we hadn't booked a campsite but headed down the coast and found Wimereux and this nice municipal campsite. The campsite was really quiet despite being only a short stroll into a busy little town with lots of restaurants etc. Very close to the beach - the northside being dog friendly. The pitches were large and well maintained and the facilities were decent. The site was quite expensive compared to other municipal campsites - but that will be due to the cracking transit location for the channel tunnel. Also the 25 euro deposit for a shower token is a bit strange but not a major hassle.

Accueil glacial et absence totale de courtoisie, on a clairement eu l’impression de déranger. Bloc sanitaire mal entretenu et peu hygiénique. Très décevant.

Camping met ruime plaatsen aan de rand van het dorp. Mooie uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. Helaas is de receptie niet echt vriendelijk, zegt amper iets. Gaat pas om 9 uur open dus als je vroeg weg wilt kun je de douche badge niet inleveren. Hiervoor betaal je 25 euro borg cash!! Sanitair wat verouderd en schoonmaak laat ook wat te wensen over. Zelf wc papier meenemen. Wel dagelijks de bakker met verse broodjes. Dicht bij het strand en het centrum, supermarkt in winkelstraat, ongeveer 5 minuten fietsen. Verder prima stek voor een paar dagen.

En camping car ce weekend de Pâques de vendredi à mardi matin.... Découvert ce camping municipal en cherchant par hasard sur le net... Réservation en ligne très simple... Bien accueilli par un personnel agréable... très beaux emplacements avec électricité et eau...douche gratuite ( compris dans le tarif ) .... sanitaires un peu vétustes mais propres dans l'ensemble... possibilité pour les campings caristes de vidanger eaux grises et WC chimique et de faire le plein d' eau...très belle plaine de jeux pour les enfants.. Camping bien situé à environ 800 mètres de la plage.. On y retournera....

Accueil correct, nous on laissait nous installer alors que nous somme arrivé en avance. Mobil Home très propre et moderne. Se trouve à quelques minutes à pied de la mer et des magasins de souvenir. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille.
