Clean, quiet environment, nice restaurant. Helpful front desk. Reasonable rate. Just only very few wall power socket in the room is bit not convenient.

Overall an amazing place to stay
By far the largest room I’ve ever had in a hotel with its own corridor to room
Lovely place
First stayed here about 8 years ago and pleased to say it’s been even further improved
My bathroom needs minor improvement, pin hole in shower feed pipe and minor blackened silicone of the freestanding bath.
Overall a beautiful location just a shame about the weather as always

The staff were excellent.
Breakfast on my first morning was very poor with most items unavailable. The room was very tired and in poor condition. Worst of all was there was no hot water for my morning shower, it came on just before I left the room. Always nice to start the day with a cold shower when it’s minus 3 outside. The photos on the website are not reflective of the real condition.
The hotel is evidently being run with limited funds. Would not return and not recommend.

Situated in the heart of Wilmslow, this English gem is conveniently close to the airport and provides easy access to the stunning Peak District and the historic Quarry Bank Mill. The picturesque surroundings offered a soothing backdrop to our stay, allowing moments of reflection and solace.
From the warm welcome by the manager to the attentive staff, the hotel's English character was evident in every detail. The breakfast, with its array of options, was a delightful introduction to English cuisine, and the staff's friendliness added a personal touch to our mornings.
For those seeking a touch of English hospitality amidst picturesque landscapes, we highly recommend StaneyLands Hotel—our heartfelt thanks to the entire staff for their kindness during our stay.

We stay at the Stanneylands when we fly in and out of Manchester, either to / from the US, or the Continent. It allows us to get to / from the rental car village, Styal Village and The Ship Inn, and the wonderful full English Breakfast they offer in the mornings
