Belinda and Ken have a really lovely thing going on here, and our only regret was that we didn't stay longer! From the moment we arrived, they warmly greeted us with true warmth; they head left us fresh cherries and a blackcurrant juice, plus they offered us wine and beer around the pool. Our room had endless views of the bay (with binoculars awaiting our use), the room was comfortable and had everything we needed (included freshly ground coffee and a french press). Sadly we didn't even use the pool area, as the 15 minute walk into Wilderness kept us exploring the friendly little town and it's ample restaurants and other distractions. It truly felt like visiting family or friends, and I hope you A) book here, and B) enjoy it as much as we did! Highly recommended.

Belinda and Ken make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The room we had overlooked the ocean and is extremely well appointed- they have thought of everything. Regret we could not stay longer and I hope we will return before too long.

Hospitality and location faultless. Ken and Belinda made us so welcome and the room was beautiful with a stunning view. We only wish we had booked for longer! We were welcomed with a cold beer and had a dip in the pool. Felt safe and secure as well.

Beautiful spot overlooking Wilderness beach, with direct access via a few steps. Room good size and spotlessly clean. Very short drive into Wilderness or 15 min stroll down the beach. Whilst breakfast isn’t offered, juices/water replaced each day - and plenty of choice locally and/or grab a pastry and enjoy the peace and quiet of the beach. Garden and pool area is stunning - Ken and Belinda are fabulous hosts - there if you need anything, but in the background if you don’t as they live there themselves. We loved it and will return. Thank you for having us! Just feels home from home, and the complimentary port to enjoy in the evenings was a lovely touch.

Die Lage des Guesthouses Shan C ist außergewöhnlich schön: direkt auf der Duine gelegen. Vom Zimmer, bzw. der Garteterrasse hatten wir einen fantastischen Blick auf den breiten Strand und den indischen Ozean. Das Zimmer Nr. 1 war deutlich kleiner, recht niedrig, weniger luxoriös und modern als das Foto auf der Homepage erwarten lässt. Die Gastgeber Ken und Belinda waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und haben uns kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie Kaltgetränke, Pralinen und Sherry ins Zimmer gestellt. Das Badezimmer ist modern ausgestattet und ausreichend groß. Die zum Zimmer gehörende Terrasse ist mit Loungesesseln, einem kleine Tisch und zwei Stühlen ausgestattet. Ken brachte uns sogar Liegen vom Pool- Bereich zur Ozeanseite. Der Aufenthalt war nett, nächstes Mal würden wir aber eine neuere, modernere Unterkunft auf der Düne, in der auch Frühstück angeboten wird, vorziehen.
