Sand Bay Holiday Village - Adults Only

Absolute bargain when I booked with your company had loads of extras with me arrive to the room bottle of wine two bottles of water, orange juice, box of mints, biscuits and luxury coffee sachets as well very impressed highly recommend would definitely use again

I personally love this place due to its quiet location. It has all you need if you want to stay onsite for your stay, entertainment, bar, etc, But lots of other places to go & explore providing you have a car. Food is ok but as we have a car can travel to choose loads of other restaurants, take aways that are around Sand bay & Weston Super Mare to eat. The rooms are comfortable, clean & sufficient. Excellent base for the lovely surrounding area. Very reasonably priced.

Ok place was clean a with food which was good basic food made this a very good for the money short weekend break.

We stayed for 3nights in a bungalow taking two of our residents with learning disabilities and mobility issues,one with a walker .The 3bedroomed bungalow was clean and spacious,the only only downside was there was a bath with overhead shower which could not be accessed by one of our residents,and the lack of pillows,one very thin pillow each.The food was fantastic,i am vegan and there was a non meat dish each daily,and vegan/gf gravy with the roast.Great entertainment,we saw Definitely Dolly,and the staff were lovely,didn’t want to come home

I had housing problems and visited a lot last year. I have not been for a year, prices have increased a lot but my stay was worse. The club room is not worth the extra money. Sure you get a newspaper, wine and a few chocolates but it's the same as an ordinary chalet just with a chest of drawers and a tub chair. It was very dirty, they should clean the spiders webs and launder the dusty curtains once a year. They only give you one pillow, so I didn't sleep. There is new carpet in the ballroom and new chairs in the lobby but they really need to invest in the chalets, as even the more expensive club rooms are bad. Heating in chalet is switched off by Pontins at certain times, so not good. It would come back on when I didn't need it. Breakfast used to be brilliant but it's now random. I was on a 4 day break. They only serve fried bread and black pudding on one day and mushrooms just 2 days. Entertainment good but it's not for us younger people. It's Obviously cheaper than anywhere in Weston.

Visited for the mon-Fri west end week with my Mum. We shared a twin room with bathroom (shower, no bath). We really enjoyed our stay and honestly for the price, you can’t go wrong. The room was comfy, clean and warm. The food was decent enough for the price. The staff (particularly Keir) were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Now the entertainment blew me away. I wasn’t expecting much to be honest (purely based on price) but it was absolutely fantastic. We particularly enjoyed Grace’s musical show (and as someone in their 30s, I really enjoyed that she sang a good few songs from more recent musicals). The greatest showman tribute was incredible and brought tears to my eyes. Sadly due to illness, we had to leave a day early but we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!!

Let’s start with the good points. Near to the beach. Water in the rooms is hot. The rooms lock. Drinks aren’t outrageously expensive. Couple of nice cafes near by. ( You’ll be needing those.) Now to the considerable downsides. Rooms are very basic. No chairs, bath only, no showers. Mould around the windows. Food is very basic, think school canteen. Impossible to make healthy food choices. Where are the vegetables? Worse thing is the queue for the below par food. 35 to 40 minute queue for evening ‘buffet’ on plastic blue trays. See picture of the queue. Restaurant is akin to a canteen, brightly lit, wipe down tables, very basic.

just got back from a 80s week and stayed on for the best of British weekend had a wonderful time for both chalets was warm and comfy and clean staff and blue coats was very friendly and helpful all entertainment live shows and bluecoat show was very good food breakfast and dinner good plenty of choice for all but it could be hot as it was very Luke warm breakfast was cold especially the fried eggs the grounds are kept very tidy but one point guest leave there plates cups towels glasses around the grounds outside the chalets and left there for ages games room was good plenty to do but glasses left in there all week not cleared away one other thing staff never remove items away from tables people reserve seats for the evening from day to night why put notices up when nothing is done about it bar staff and Sharon can do it and reception staff just once they checked you have got your wristband with you should more often we are returning again twice next Feb 2025 remember to take your table cloth and oraments to reserve your table at night time

This was our 4th visit/break here in the last 12 months. This was the first fri-mon stay(3 night) as we would normally opt for the 4 night mon-fri. However this was their first West End break and we were not disappointed (unless you ask if we had wished it was longer). We, as always, booked club rooms. This gives a better quality room, early check-in, bottle of wine, tea, coffee and milk etc, and a newspaper each day. Having said that we have met others who regularly use the standard rooms and have never heard any complaints. The entertainment, as always, was first class, and plentiful. There was daytime entertainment, quizzes, games etc and karaoke during our stay. In addition there is a chip and putt course... although there are no "greens" , which often adds to the fun(or pain). There is a crazy golf course and an area for boules. Indoors there is a pool table, snooker room with "free light" and a couple of table tennis tables. The swimming pool hasn't reopened yet but it is not far off being completed. The bar, cafe and reception staff are extremely helpful and always have a smile and greeting for us. The bluecoats work hard to keep us all entertained. Finally a word about the guests. Yes, the majority of guests are boomers, so if you don't like words and phrases like "after you", "please", "thank you", or don't like the door being held open for you (whether male or female), maybe this place isn't for you. The guests here are polite and cheerful, just the way we like it
