We stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights 19-20 December 2024. Warm and welcoming reception, lovely common room with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree , a bar and an aquarium full of fish ! Andrew was a great host , we were treated to an upgrade with a spectacular view all the way across the to the front. His local knowledge was a great bonus , and although we were familiar with the area it was thoughtfully provided. The bed was fabulously comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped with lovely toiletries and fluffy towels. This is an old but well maintained hotel. No lift but there was an immediate offer of help with bags if required. You can admire all the period features and the sympathetically paired decor. We Highly recommend a stay here, it’s only a few minutes walk to the front and there’s a lot of bars , restaurants , shopping centre and sights to see.

The hotel's location was ideal, with a short walk to the seafront. The room had a fantastic sea view. The room included a bath which was perfect after trekking all day. The staff were outstanding, especially in giving me local advice and helping me secure a parking space.

I had a nice 1 night stay while in the area on business. The owner was so helpful on what to do in the area & best restaurants to use. He very kindly helped me with my luggage and showed me up to room 14 which was a nice size and right at the very top of the hotel on the second floor, so I had a fabulous view over the chimney pots and out to sea. The only issue was it was really hot - I turned off the heating but was only able to open the window a little way. The window opening was also a problem in the ensuite bathroom - it didn't open at all - and as a result there was an awful lot of black mould around the window frames which wasn't very nice to look at so I pulled the blind down! There was lots of water but the shower took ages to drain. However the room had a lovely comfy bed. Parking is a bit tight but there was plenty of free parking on the roadside outside the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were all lovely. Thank you to the Queenswood.

What can I say. Just fantastic. Andrew was so helpful when we arrived helping park the car. Gave us a choice on the room we had chosen, both were fantastic. Helpful with choice of places in town to eat. The room was great, very comfy bed. Cannot fault this place at all. Definitely worth a return.

We arrived at the hotel on Friday afternoon where we were greeted by Andrew the owner. As we were the 1st to arrive we were given a choice of the front 2 rooms both lovely rooms with great views. Andrew recommend some of the local restaurants and pointed us the right direction. The room was immaculately clean, warm and very comfortable. Everything was provided for a relaxing weekend, some lovely treats, fruit, tea, coffee and 2 bottles of water. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and hand soap provided. Downstairs was a well stocked bar where we had a couple of drink after arriving back from our evening meals. There is also a beautiful comfortable lounge area perfect for a relax on a rainy afternoon. Breakfast really could not be faulted, there was a great choice from cereals through to full cooked English and everything else in between. This was our 1st visit to Queenswood Hotel but we will definitely be back. Thank you Andrew and all your team for a great weekend.

Great hotel, very friendly owner who offered loads of advice where to visit and eat in the area. The hotel was lovelyand a sea view. Room had a lobby area with desk and a large shower room. If we ever go back to this area we will definately stay here again.

Very clean, comfortable, well appointed hotel. We had a balcony room with a panoramic view of the seafront and pier. The best part of the stay was the owners Andrew and Beth who were most helpful with recommendations for eating places, days out, and spa/beauty salons. The location was excellent within 5-10 minute walk to the seafront and many shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Fantastic accommodation. Lovely room and beautiful interior of hotel. Well positioned to explore the town. Lovely owner. Quiet area with lots of interesting buildings around it. 10 minute walk to City centre and Grand Pier. Word of warning the Pier closed at 5pm

This is a beautiful hotel. The host was very friendly and attentive. He gave us good advice on where to eat. My room was very clean and comfortable, the room had a main bedroom a dressing room and a large en-suite with a very large bath (big enough for 2 to share). As well as the usual tea and coffee facilities popcorn, pretzels and apples were complimentary. The bar was well stocked with the host giving friendly chatter. The breakfast choices were good. The breakfast well cooked. On the whole to sum up beautiful property, warm friendly host, staff were all friendly and welcoming. Clean rooms. A definite YES I would stay here again and recommend to you all.

Above all expectations. It was really good value for money. Staff and owner went above and beyond to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Really old fashioned good customer service. So impressed. Family run. Room was spotless, had everything I needed and more. Good choice at breakfast, and tables really nicely laid out. Would definitely return here if I need to come to Weston super mare again.

Lovely hotel, really nice and knowledgable owner and staff. The room was comfy, warm and clean and had a lovely view over the town and out to sea. Breakfast when really nice and served to order. We will certainly stay again next time we are in Weston Super Mare.

Room was fantastic lovely and clean. Bathroom not big but did its job had a lovely hot bath when I got there. The view from the room was brilliant looked over the town and the sea. Would definitely go back and stay for days not just the one night. Thank you

This review is 100 % genuine. Thank you for a lovely stay recently. My room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent and the hotel is well located for all amenities. Parking can be challenging but I'm sure modifications to the parking will be made in due course. I recommend this hotel without reservation.

I loved everything about this hotel. The price, the room, the breakfast, the customer service, free easy parking, walking distance to town, we loved it. It was immaculately clean. The bed was amazing. We will definitely be back.
