Wayanad Silver Woods Hotel

Super Resort with Lake View.. We stayed here in presidential suite for 2 nights. I must say that the resort is very beautiful. Wee got lake view from our rooms. Best thing was the beauty of resort and location. Service was good but not exceptional. Met the expectation. Food needs improvement though if one is non veg then would not find any issue. For veg one has to struggle. Wayanad is overall a beautiful place and this resort gave us memorable stay

My experience at Wayanad Silverwoods was incredible. This luxury resort in Wayanad is set among the beautiful hills and soothing water of Banasura Sagar including towering trees and forests, which ensures one has a great encounter with nature as well as a luxurious experience. The villa I was in was very spacious, elegantly designed and had stunning views of the lake. The staff was very friendly and quite attentive to details with every request being made with a cordial smile. The infinity pool and spa were among the amenities that I enjoyed at the resort, and these brought my experience of relaxation and pampering to another level. For those looking for some action, the resort has, trekking, boating and tours around the tea and coffee farms close to the resort. It is a perfect destination for honeymooners, families or business retreats. It is with no doubt that Wayanad Silverwoods can be recommended to any person and especially those who want to spend a luxurious time in one of the very best resorts in Wayanad which integrates comfort of homes, nature and warmth of people.

The masseur Jayesh is very friendly and excellent massage service offered. He knows each pressure points and gives a relaxed experience. After the massage i felt like got a new fresh body. Very cleanly maintained rooms and bathrooms. Happy with overall experience.

We had the most amazing experience at Silverwoods. The whole resort has been well planned and we found the staff to be very cordial. The food was truly lip-smacking. Enjoyed every bit of it. I am a wheelchair user and was really thankful to the resort owners for accommodating a wheelchair user like myself. The bedroom and the bathroom is designed to be handicapped friendly....thank you for your thougtfulness. Can't wait for the new restaurant and bar to be opened. Do let us know when your renovations are done and we will surely visit again.

The hotel was unbeknown to us, under some renovations when we arrived. There was a temporary reception that was welcoming with courteous staff. They kindly told us our room had been upgraded. A short cart ride later and we are shown our room. Disappointedly it smelt of damp and our dam view was obscured by trees, which is of course acceptable in this natural environment. Things got worse from here. Because of the renovations the main restaurant wasn’t open. The temporary restaurant was impersonal and lacked ambience. We were initially served hot drinking water and the menu was limited. The final straw was the only soft drink available was coke. That was it. A chat with the F&B manager and nothing changed on the F&B front, but he did very kindly get our room upgraded to a lovely room with wonderful view. Breakfast was quite frankly a joke. Strawberry milkshake, a choice of cereals that were read out to us, a choice of egg and some chopped up fruit. Just to add, there was just one other couple that we could see staying at the hotel. The final insult was on check out. We were given a “pass” to exit security after they had checked our room. The manager did his best to make our stay more pleasurable to be fair. Apparently the refurbishment is because they are going to be 5 star. Good luck with that.
