While more could be said, I will try to hit only the main points. The good: When we arrived Friday night, Jan 17 2025, just a little before 6, the front desk lady was very friendly. She ended up upgrading our room for no good reason. She signed us up for Marriott rewards, then gave us a goodie bag as well as a bottle of chardonnay. She was super friendly the entire time. As far as hotel breakfasts go, they did a good job with the food offerings (NOT the attendant - more below). Biscuits and gravy always helps. They were tasty. The bad: My wife did not fall asleep until 2am. She said the people above her were not necessarily loud, but rather that it sounded like they had a squeaky sofa-bed. The sofa-bed in our room had the same squeak, so she is pretty confident it was the couch. We were in room 104. The worst part was the breakfast attendant. We came down at about 8:45. I took the last biscuit, and together my wife and I finished off the eggs. The lazy attendant was visibly complaining about not wanting to make more food. My wife even heard her say "I don't wanna make more," referring to the biscuits. The waffle maker also did not work properly the entire time we were in the breakfast area. We noted three separate parties walk out of the hotel visibly upset about there being no food. She finally made 12 more biscuits which were ready at 9:40, so I finally was able to get seconds. A long time to wait just for a biscuit. How hard is it really to throw 12 biscuits into a microwave? Anyway, the scrambled eggs never were replaced. Oh, and did I mention that the hard boiled eggs were gone when we came down, and also were never refilled? The incredibly lazy younger lady seemed content to look at her phone the entire time. She really needs to be canned if she in unwilling to chance her attitude regarding work and people.
