Amazing stay in Top of the Tavern. Every want and need met, amazing for dietary restrictions and over the top service. Find the chapel of the holy family! You won’t regret it! Kate and Caelin and Tristan took great care of us. Dinner in Littleton was a fun treat.

This is a gorgeous inn in a beautiful, quiet location.The rooms are unique, extremely comfortable and attractively decorated. It is a pleasure to see the care and attention that has been put into the restoration of this beautiful historic home. Many books, games and puzzles are available throughout the inn. Snowshoeing is possible just out the front door and other winter activities are not far away. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and fine dining for dinner and breakfast complete the picture for a relaxing visit to Lower Waterford, VT.

What a delightful 24 hours! I knew when we entered our room, The Taverns Secret, and were greeted by soft, soothing music and the magical mesmerizing flames dancing in the fireplace that Rabbit Hill Inn is a special place! We woke up to softly falling snow and a delicious 3 course breakfast with housemate baked goods and granola and french omelettes, And, how lucky am I that I got to experience two of your signature amenities; that glorious hot tub and the afternoon sweet treats for tea time, not once, but TWICE!! Highly Recommend.

We recently enjoyed a two day stay at RHI, to celebrate both our 46th anniversary and my second visit there since I was a child 55 years ago. What a lovely, luxurious experience in this beautifully maintained, charming historic inn. Our comfortable suite, The Nest, was perched on the top level - a steep climb up two flights of narrow stairs (people in the 1700s must have been built differently!). Phoebe Grace, the innkeeper that day, greeted us warmly and gave us a personal tour of the place, offering to help with our bags. Things we especially liked: the very comfortable bed, tackling a couple of famous handmade Stave jigsaw puzzles which they offer guests to check out, and two fabulous gourmet dinners in the 24 Carrot dining room, plus delicious included breakfasts. Every employee we met was personable, kind, and helpful. We also enjoyed playing shuffleboard and horseshoes on the lawn surrounded by their lovely gardens, and wandering the few streets of lower Waterford; we would have liked to explore the trails if they had been better maintained. Overall, a wonderful experience and a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary!

Best B&B stay ever! Highly recommend. Clean, spacious, good food, fantastic staff. We had no issue during our stay. Staff was always attentive to our needs and provided recommendations for things to do nearby. We enjoyed every minute and will definitely come back.

My husband and I decided to return to RHI after a 6 year hiatus . We previously stayed there on 15 other occasions and had always been blown away by the exceptional accommodations, food, device and friendliness of both the staff and previous inn keepers Brian and Leslie. Much to our dismay things were not the same. From the time we checked in and no one offered to help with our luggage to the misleading info on the website stating dinner reservation could be made for the pub for lighter fare ( we were told the menu was the same as the main restaurant and no apology was made or offer to rectify) to the lack of their signature turndown service it was a disappointment. The coup de Gras for us was the expectation of a tip gor housekeeping with an envelope left in the room and the waitress bringing a blank bill portfolio at the included breakfast for an expected tip on an unknown amount! All gratuities had been previously included and I could find no where leading me to believe otherwise on the website. When we went to checkout not an employee was to be found!!! The new owners snd innkeeper will surely run this gem into the ground . We will not return .
