Waterford Inn

The good: - They were expecting us - The room was ready - The beds were made - The room had been cleaned - The mattress was comfortable enough - The shower had hot water The bad: - The parking lot had puddles 20 ft across and several inches deep from recent rains. There was some non-puddle parking left, but not much. - There was a vehicle in the parking lot with four flat tires. Slashed? Abandoned? Who knows. - The office and my room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. This was non-smoking room. - The shower curtain was very mildewed. Pretty much all over the bottom 12 inches of the curtain where it touched the tub. At my house, it would have been thrown out months before it got that bad. - The bathroom had been recently painted, but extremely poorly. There were point drips several inches long inside the shower, on the toilet, and on the floor. There was a bit of painters tape still stuck to the back of the sink. Frankly I'm surprised they used it, the painters left a half inch of the old color on the wall all around the sink. - As I got in bed, I noticed a 6 inch dark reddish brown stain on the sheets. I moved over to avoid it. - As I got further into bed, my big toe went though a rip in the bottom sheet. - My neighbors on one side were up playing music and talking until 1 AM. Not super loudly, but I could hear most of their conversation and it kept me up. - My neighbors on the other side got up at 6 AM and started talking. At one point one got locked out of their room and knocked loudly on their door for the other person to let them in.

excellent prices for soft drinks at the machine in the office plus a microwave for customer use there

If you expect anything other than a dingy room with workable facilities, you will be disappointed.

We only spent one night there on our way home from Boston, so it's an old place and needs to be renovated, but given its low cost, I'd say it's quite good for a one night's sleep.

“Non-smoking” room reeked of cigarette smoke. The vibe was creepy. We found another hotel.

The property was actually a run down motel in an unsafe area. My dad n I pulled into the parking lot, unable to find the front door. Felt like I was in a horror movie. The pictures online showed if being a nice place to stay. We left and booked a room at Comfort Inn.

My car broke down and I was unable to make check in. When I called to cancel, the owner was incredibly unsympathetic and unhelpful

No microwave in the room, bathroom door lock doesn’t work, no amenities in the room, old and outdated furniture.

Typical motel, great location, no amenities, I had a room the AC did not work. room smelled like cigarrette No worth the 70 plus dollars paid.
