Washingborough Hall Hotel

What a great place to stay - I can't recommend it highly enough. I needed a hotel to stay in whilst my husband was in Lincoln hospital and I'm so glad I found Washingborough Hall. In its own immaculate grounds with plenty of free parking for guests, in a peaceful countryside setting yet only a 10 mins easy drive to the hospital and centre of Lincoln. The staff are so lovely, always there to help. The rooms are spotless and had tea/coffee, a bottle of water and a homemade shortbread plus small bottles of toiletries, so everything I needed. I stayed on a bed & breakfast basis for 6 nights. Breakfast was always excellent with loads of choice. There are evening meals in the restaurant or lighter meals served all day in the bar, all cooked and presented to perfection. In fact, I was having breakfast in the restaurant one morning and was delighted to see the Red Arrows flying over - quite a regular site apparently as they're based close by. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Very relaxed atmosphere in this lovely hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly and the food is excellent. Combined with warm comfy rooms the hotel is an excellent choice for exploring Lincoln and the surrounding area. Well worth paying that little bit extra.

Fabulous few days away with my best friend to visit Lincoln. This hotel is an absolute gem. The Christmas decorations were so tasteful and different. The staff were all kind,courteous and extremely helpful. The dinner was extra special. We had a beautiful room which opened onto a terrace which was really convenient for our two dogs. Overall an excellent experience

I very rarely give full marks for a stay but the Washingborough Hall House thoroughly deserves them. The staff were all excellent, calm, efficient and very professional. The bedroom was ideal with a super bed and pillows and the dinners and breakfasts exceptional. There was an overall aura of calm and fortunately we stayed for 5 nights. It did seem the majority of people left after one day which is not really long enough. In terms of a negative there is little I could mention though the only thing would be the bar area. There are two lovely rooms but there seems little encouragement for people to use them and if you want a drink you have to go and find someone to help and certainly we were never asked if we wanted another one. This did seem a bit out of keeping with everything else about the place. Maybe this is a different scenario for the week end.

We recently had our wedding at Washingborough Hall Hotel. What an amazing day!. From the very first moment we met Lucy and her team at Washingborough Hall we knew this was the place for us. Lucy instantly made us feel as though there was nothing that was going to be too much trouble and any request we had to add that little bit extra to our day was going to be absolutely fine. Lucy was available whenever we needed, via email, phone or for us to pop up to see her. The attention to detail that both her and the team have following any of our meetings was amazing. For my now wife who likes to worry a bit, any of her concerns or questions were immediately resolved by Lucy. The constant feel of having that personal touch, always welcome and never being made to feel like "just another client" just added to our amazing experience. In the final few days leading up to our big day Lucy was on hand to talk us through everything, liaising with vendors to ensure everything was on track, and even sending my wife emails and photos a few days before as our decorations started to arrive. All these little things matter and the whole team went above and beyond. Another special mention has to go to Jordan who from the minute we arrived on our big day was on hand to calm the nerves, and she ensured that everything ran like complete clockwork. She was never too far away when i had any questions as the day progressed. The food we were served for our wedding breakfast was out of this world. For a wedding of 98 guests, everyone i spoke to said it was some of the finest food they have ever been served at a wedding, and was of the same quality as you would expect from a private meal for 2. All in all, our whole experience from the moment we stepped foot in Washingborough Hall, to getting married 15 months later was unbelievable. If anyone is thinking about this wonderful place as a potential wedding venue then do not hesitate. Go and see Lucy and i guarantee you will not be disappointed. What a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful hotel with glorious grounds. Very warm welcome on reception and all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and cosy with excellent en-suite facilities. We stayed on a B&B basis however did use the restaurant for an evening meal. Food was delicious and very well presented. My youngest son and I had a 2 night stay and would have loved to stay longer. Came to Lincolnshire to enjoy the Avro Lancaster Air show. Would certainly stay again. Thank you Washingborough Hall
