I stay regularly with work and always have a positive experience. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful and the manager is always accommodating with specific rooms to fit me working nights. would recommend. *****

Not great, I usually like Premier Inn as I know what you’re going to get. I arrived late after three hours travelling. Room 2 had a musky smell, heating that kicked in with a bang as it came on through the night. Breakfast is in the pub next door and you’d do well to find somewhere else. People are nice but I wouldn’t return

Stayed here at the weekend, arriving late Friday night, leaving first thing Sunday. The hotel itself is very tired and dated. Given the lack of investment, I would guess that Premier Inn are looking to close this hotel in the near future. Shortage of sockets in the room and none near the bed (I use a cpap machine). Bathroom also looks tired and the fittings are very worn. Free wifi is very slow and mobile reception in the area is poor. As for our own personal experience. Room hadn't been cleaned, with some of the previous occupants belongings left on the shelf behind the towels - didn’t notice this until the Saturday morning. Made for a very uncomfortable stay, not knowing whether the towels and bedding we used were clean or not. Booked a breakfast for myself and the kids for the Saturday morning. Breakfast was in the accompanying pub and wasn't worth it (unlike when we stayed in the Leeds Premier Inn in December, who have their own restaurant). When we returned after breakfast, the front door of the hotel was locked and took ages to get someone's attention and was told "a guest must have locked it". Then discovered that I had been charged for two breakfasts (kids meals are free). When I spoke to the duty manager she said that their system showed only one booked and paid for. When I showed her the email receipt, she just shrugged her shoulders and told me there was nothing she could do. On leaving the hotel on the Sunday morning, discovered that the staff smoking area is right outside the front door, so you can't avoid walking through a haze of smoke. Premier Inn's are basic, I've stayed in loads over the years, but this one is dire.

Nicole on reception has been amazing with me and my family any issues she has done her best to come up with solutions and was very understanding. Dwayne on housekeeping has been wonderful making sure we had enough things on our room due to us being here for a long time. The staff have been wonderful can't fault them. However, the rooms are not what is displayed on the main premier inn website, they are very dated in dire need of repair let alone upgrade! The noise levels from other guests, be it in their own rooms, walking the corridors is terrible!

Our room was basic we were put right next to the entrance door so lots of noise, the room had obviously had plumbing issues as well as cleaning issues , there was mould on the bathroom tiles and the toilet had obviously been out and refitted poorly, the basin and bath had chips in the enamel.

A very dated hotel but somewhere to put your head down for the price it’s ok.the disappointment is that it’s connected to the swan pub as part of the group we went to have a meal there and was turned away as they don’t accept walk inns we informed them we are booked into the hotel and we had booked breakfast at the pub this made no difference. As we had no idea where the next eatery was we had to make do. The next morning we had breakfast but it was cold. My opinion is that both places need a complete re vamp. And run better.
