OUtstanding service as always from Ronald and the housekeeping staff. The rooms are always extremely clean, well-equipped and quiet. We stayed in a one-bedroomed unit which was very spacious and comfortable. This motel gets a big plus as the lighting is good enough to do embroidery and read by which is not always the case.

Rooms are not super spacious but they are very cosy, clean and have rather comfortable beds! The motel sits in a well serviced area with easy access to supermarkets, chemist and cafe' etc... Recommended!

I couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay . At such short notice, I found a place to stay . The host was very welcoming, very helpful, and made me feel Iike nothing was a problem . The room that I stayed in was super clean and tidy. I highly recommend this for a place to stay and would definitely stay again .

The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful when I couldn't figure out the heat. The windows were open in the room when we got there and it was 45 degrees outside so the room was freezing. Shower pressure was good but hard to get temperature right. Motel was super quiet. Parking is a bit of a nightmare with the spots and lot being very tight and one lane for both in and out. There's a fantastic breakfast place right next door that I highly recommend. Overall, a great stay for the money.

The owner is very pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed the conversation. The room is well equipped and very clean. You can tell that a lot of effort goes into maintainig the motel. The location is convenient to shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here!

The motel is spotlessly clean, has good facilities and is conveniently situated to the city. A useful feature was the availability of a unit sleeping 3 persons with access to a 2 bed unit. Close proximity to Whanganui Collegiate School. The manager was very helpful.

I stayed here briefly for one night in October 2022. The hotel is well located on the main street. Around the hotel there are several supermarkets and restaurants (McDonalds etc) and just down the road is the main shopping area. It's fairly straight-forward to get to/from State Highway 3. The room was large, with a heat pump, all the usual shampoo/soap etc in the bathroom, and, in my bathroom, there was a spa pool which was so tempting but I did not have time to use it. The wifi worked well. Parking is more or less outside the door to the unit. I will consider staying here again on my next visit to Whanganui.

This is a great motor lodge in a very good location, walking distance from many places to eat. Our room was a studio and was quite spacious and the bathroom lovely and clean. The bed was very comfy and we had a great sleep with no outside noise. Friendly owner. HIghly recommended.

Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious with everything needed to cook meals and relax. Walking distance to town and supermarkets was a bonus. The owner was pleasant and helpful. An enjoyable stay.
