Makena Surf- CoralTree Residence Collection

Loved this property, and our corner unit A204 had amazing views. (It is near the road though so expect noise from cars, as well as the surf, if you sleep with the windows open.) The beach feels private and great snorkeling was available right from the shore. We most enjoyed our guided hike with Hike Maui and dinner at Lineage. We’ll be back to this property for sure.

The location is nice but the unit needs some serious maintenance and updating. Cockroaches were everywhere. Refrigerator was broken and has been an ongoing problem with no solution. This property and its management don’t provide any solutions for disabled people getting to and from the beach. Would have been appreciated if they at least provided a late check out instead of having to keep my 84 year old mom out until our evening flight.

We stayed in Makena Surf Resort C102 and it was amazing! This gated community has two pools, tennis courts, nice shower areas off beach, beautiful sandy beach, and safe We loved our time here and highly recommend this place! The unit was so beautifully updated and furnished. The beds and linens were wonderful, full amenities, great rental managers, private beautiful beach right by turtle cove, close to The Shops and dinning.

Amazing 180 degree view of the beach, ocean and neighboring islands with breathtaking sunsets. Well-appointed 3-bedroom condo with easy access to beach, and other amenities (pool, tennis), and is close to other South Maui coast attractions, Kihei, and Road to Hana. Don't pay big $ to see turtles - you'll see them daily around the rocks on the beach. The condo comfortably sleeps 6 (King in Master, Queen in bdrm 2, and 2 singles in bdrm 3). If you're planning to spend time in Lahaina, Ka'anapali. Kapalua, plan a day trip. It's an hour plus drive.

This is a potentially magnificent spot. It is older and needs updating which is being done. There is currently a major construction project going on with rehab of the 2 pools that I am told will be ongoing for 6 months. The problem is that I was not informed about this and this was staying in a construction zone on what was to be my relaxing Maui vacation. Do to the long travel this will likely be my family’s only trip and being put in this position was very disappointing and stressful. I am sure the property will be beautiful when the construction is done, but I would not trust this organization to be forthcoming about what is going on during your visit and would not chance planning a vacation at their property. I was given a 30% refund after complaining, but this did not make what they did ok. Again it was my one chance to come to Maui and I was in the middle of major construction.

Fantastic location and condo.Was clean and very usable. The master bed in the unit we stayed (F305) waas beyond use and after two days of waking up extremely sore we ended up sleeping on an inflatable mattress. We are adaptable, but might not be for everybody. Due to boooking at capacity, the concierge was unable to relocate us. Despite the hassles, this location is amzing and we had great snorkel days about half the time we were there - turtles all over the place!
