This side of the renovated farmhouse, is the oldest part of the estate. Some hunting frescos in the dining/living room prove its origin as an hunting hut although it has been a farmer house and a stable too. The date 1850 is probably when the house was converted from hunting lodge to farmhouse. There are also 2 apartments, one for the caretaker and one, seldom used, for the owners. Very old large working farm "Podere Valle di Sotto". 2 km from the centre of Volterra, 30 km from the centre of San Gimignano, 40 km from the centre of Pisa, in a quiet position on top of a hill, in the countryside. Private, well kitted out, great swimming pool. Volterra is a fantastic town with excellent restaurants.

We spent one week in Valle Di Sotto and we loved it. Place is very near the village so we walked in the evening to the village to have a dinner. Pool is very good and big enough. Apartment was lovely with all equipments we needed. House really old origina
