Dreamview Villas

DreamView Villa is located on the peak of Volivoli Rd overlooking the famous Navitilevu Bay. The villas are well maintained, hygienically kept with a family size pool for indulgence. The rooms are well ventilated welcoming the sea breeze which is refreshing. The only thing that needs attention is the bathing towels - they need to be changed.

I was going to write a narrative describing the most awful lodging experience I have ever had, but frankly, I’m so done with it that I’ll leave it to bullets. Let me start by saying that my wife and I are very active, athletic seniors. We were both competitive athletes in our youth. We have traveled extensively, are multi-lingual, and lived in Panama, Spain, Norway, USA, and Canada. We booked this “villa” for 6-nights to use as a base for exploring northern Viti Levu. We checked in in the evening and this is what we found: • Filth • Dead flies and other insects all over the inside of the accommodation. The corners of the staircase were covered with dead flies. • At home we do not wear shoes, here we could not take them off. If we wiped a surface or the floor, the wipe came back black. • Food leftovers in the kitchen sink. • The dishes were filthy. • The cooking utensils and appliances were filthy. We would not use any of it. • The toilets had “stains” underneath the seats and were overall gross. • It was supposed to be air conditioned. Each bedroom had an air conditioner, but only one worked and the rest of the house was not. • There were two thin blankets stuffed in a closet. Neither were folded, they were randomly rolled up and smelled of some floral perfume. They were gross and unusable. • The views are really good. • The owner helped tow my car back onto the track that it had slid off of after a torrential downpour. • It is remote. We had paid in full for 6-nights and left after the first night. We would have sooner if it had been remotely possible.
