Eleni Studios

We stayed in room 19 for one week travelling with Jet 2. We arrived knowing it was room only with no reception or pool on site. We were given our room number at airport and transfer coach left us on the main road above eleni studios. It was a short walk down hill to the studios. Cleaning lady helped us to our room but usually key is just left in the door. Full welcome instructions are in the room you just need to ring number if you need anything. The room was lovely and clean with the basic pots and utensils for self catering. One thing I will say is if you are not fit and able bodied or have young children this is not the place for you. It is at the top part of a very steep hill. I expected to get a taxi with out any problem as I have a heart condition but some taxis were asking too much so they did not have to do the job. We were quoted €30 to do a one way trip one day. It was usually €10 . I have one thing to say about that we were being ripped off by the taxis. We decided to move down to the main street into another appartment at our own expense as it would have cost the same for taxis. I was glad to get back up to Eleni Studios for the last night as it was far better then the replacement room we'd paid for. If you intend to hire a car whilst staying it is a good choice of accomodation. I will warn you though that we were told car hire prices had shot up. (We cant drive). The area of Lourdas is beautiful but very steep if travelling up or down to the beach. It took us an hour walking to the beach downhill. The beach was sandy and plenty of sunloungers.€8 for 2 loungers and a parasol. We had a lovely relaxing holiday and would recommend the Eleni Studios only if you can manage the climb up the hill.

Hated this place American Greeks , obnoxious unfriendly and damm right rude ,put wedding party before paying holiday guests closed the pool to us ,don’t stay here there are much nicer places to be honest
