I want to review this hotel as it was beautiful. THere were some hiccups with the service in the restaurant, however we pointed it out to the staff and since it had just transferred to a Hilton property they are working out certain areas. Overall, our experience was wonderful.. Very clean lovely room, and the staff we encountered was amazing. I want to point out one very special lady Kotryna Grunskytė Receptionist | Grand Hotel Vilnius, Curio Collection by Hilton, SHe went above and beyond to assist my husband and me in sending a painting we bought home. I found out she had just started there, her kindness and over the top help to us was incredible. I want the hotel to know, she is such as asset to your property and will go great places. Her shining personality and helpfulness to guests, was second to none. She is incredible and I can not say enough about her and her eagerness to make sure we were taken care of. The location of this hotel, the cleaniness, the overall experience staying here was fabulous and one day we hope to return again. Our trip was so memorable and Lithuania was a great place to visit.

NO WORKING AC in summer and while the front desk switched us into another room for night 2 of 2 - that one didn’t work either. Woke up sweating at 3 pm. Sadly the front desk offered up nothing as an accommodation for night 2, probably because now that this hotel is a Hilton, Hikton Corporate is trying to maximize RPAR (revenue per available night) and could care less about guest experience.

I have been a loyal customer for the past 8 years, with over 30 stays, but my recent experience at this hotel has been extremely disappointing. It seems the only thing that remains unchanged (changing owners from Kempinski to a Hilton now) is the steep pricing. Everything else has gone downhill compared to the previous hotel. 1. Cheaper Bedding: The previous hotel used Muhldorfer bedding, which was a major draw for me. The new bedding is noticeably cheaper, and the mattresses are too soft, contributing to an overall poorer experience. 2. Unwelcoming Staff: The staff is now below average and not welcoming at all. This is a stark contrast to the warm hospitality I used to receive. 3. Unpleasant Odor: The hotel now has an unpleasant odor, which is a huge downgrade from the previous hotel’s refreshing and luxurious scent. 4. Deteriorated Lobby: The lobby has transformed from a luxurious space to something completely unremarkable, which detracts from the initial impression of the hotel. 5. Cold Jacuzzi: The jacuzzi water has become colder, seemingly as a cost-saving measure. This diminishes the relaxing experience that guests look forward to. 6. Poor Breakfast: The breakfast was small with a lack of choice, a significant step down from what used to be offered. Overall, I can no longer recommend this hotel. It no longer provides a proper 5-star experience. Previously a gem,actually one of the top hotels in Vilnius after 8 years of consistent stays, I will not be returning.

This hotel just changed to a Hilton from a Kempinski. Room is adequate but not close to what would be expected of a 5 star. Just came from Riga Kempinski which was glorious. My biggest complaint—the bed is AWFUL. Sags in the middle and when I looked at it, it must be 20 years old. They are supposed to change our room so I’ll update this review if we are accommodated. Updates are needed especially on carpet, bathroom is nice with a heated floor.

Overall, an excellent hotel with a fantastic location, cozy rooms, and welcoming staff. I felt compelled to share my thoughts on this review due to the behavior of one of the reception staff members, which I found to be lacking in professionalism and not up to the standards expected from a renowned hotel. I had reserved a room for the dates of 1-3 April, as I planned to check in on 2/4 due to my flight arriving in Vilnius at midnight. I checked in at 1am. Today, when I needed to check out, I politely requested a later time from the employee. As a member of the KEMPINSKI DISCOVERY program, I was hoping for some flexibility. However, the employee informed me that the latest he could offer was 1:00 pm. If I wanted to extend my stay by an additional half hour, there would be an extra charge. I inquired about his opinion on the matter and if it does make sense, to which he responded by emphasizing the strictness of KEMPINSKI's policy and inquiring about my final decision. Further comments are probably unneeded...!

I visited Vilnius last February small city and overall nice welcoming people. I booked a room with the Cathedral view but unfortunately received a low floor room but view was great. Front desk daytime was amazing I forgot the name of the gentleman who checked me in but he was incredible explaining to me about the city and insisting to walk me to my executive room. I had dinner with drinks at the fancy restaurant lobby area, service was awful i had to scream for someone to come take orders although there was always more then one behind the bar but never bothered to look at clients! I ordered room service dinner the gentleman who took order was great recommending snacks and portions arrived huge! Overall nice comfy hotel in a small quite town i would visit again for sure.

If you have a dream to feel Christmas in the heart of Vilnius, please be sure — Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius hotel is the best place for that! :) Cozy atmosphere, best location, best Christmas decorations, best Afternoon tea. Everything would help you to feel like in a Christmas fairytale!
