***Worst hotel I’ve been to yet*** Upon your arrival, there is no reception, no sign, nothing. Another guest had to teach us how to “check in”: You have to call the hotel, but nobody answers (there is no receptionist). Then you get one SMS in French, telling you that you have to communicate via text message. You answer in English, with your name, etc. the reply comes in French again. I mean… you are copy pasting a text message, I am sure you could have an international version to be customer friendly? Alright, nevermind, I’m in France. Let’s use google translator, we all know how amazing it is. They give you your room number. You have to figure out a way of opening the door (not written in the message): After the code, you have to press the RED button, that to me looks a lot like you shouldn’t press it. Then you go inside to take a look around. Bathroom has no soap, you can’t wash your hands. On your way out, you see a bunch of guests at the door even more lost than you were, asking for your help in French. I would love to help you, lady. Unfortunately, I don’t speak French… but wait - right! - that’s the hotel’s job. There’s no one here. Too bad. Maybe next time, in a decent hotel. Good luck, and go buy some soap before stores close, otherwise you can’t shower either. You hungry? Bad luck: can’t eat anywhere nearby. Of course there is no restaurant in the hotel - there is no one inside after all. But there is also no restaurant in the vicinity. The closest one (you have to drive there) was fully booked and there was no chance of even waiting outside either. After driving for quite some time, we found a place to eat. On our way back, there was a guy waiting outside. The person wouldn’t reply to his SMS so he had no room, even though he had a reservation. I have no idea what happened to the poor guy. That’s absurd. Wi-Fi is terrible, one can only send very small data like WhatsApp messages. Can’t support sending a simple picture. Forget about YouTube. It won’t load. There’s no power line next to the bed, there is only one in the whole room. The swimming pool was disgusting, I didn’t risk getting in. Hotel is very dirty in general. Avoid at all costs.

Cet hôtel semble être resté dans son état depuis les années 70, et le personnel complètement dépassé fait preuve d'un total amateurisme. Dès la réception, je dois patienter cinq bonnes minutes car on ne me trouve pas dans la liste des réservations, et après avoir passé en revue chaque nom, je suis enfin identifié. Je rentre dans la chambre et je fais un voyage de 50 ans en arrière. Tout est vieux, mal entretenu, bas de gamme. J'ai envie de fuir. Le lit double est fait de deux lits simples...allez dormir au milieu avec les montants en bois dans le dos ! Le seul point positif : c'est calme et il y a des volets roulants électriques fonctionnels. Le petit déjeuner : à l'image du reste : bas de gamme. La machine à café est en panne, mais on nous propose du café filtre. Peu de choix et tout est industriel. Oser proposer cela à 11€ c'est inimaginable. Le check out est la cerise sur le gâteau : on nous explique que la patronne (que nous ne verrons jamais) est partie avec le terminal de paiement par carte bancaire. Il faut donc payer par espèces ou chèque, et si vous n'avez ni l'un ni l'autre, vous devrez donner votre numéro de CB par téléphone !!! Inouï. Je préfèrerai dormir dans ma voiture plutôt que redonner mon argent à ces amateurs.
