Our hideaway is located on 'Columbus Landing' beach, named for the place where Columbus anchored 17 ships on his second voyage in 1493. Columbus, as the discoverer of this island, gave it it's original name, 'Santa Cruz' or Holy Cross. Though the island took the derivative of St. Croix later, the property carries the name 'Santa Cruz' in honor of the first visit and the original name of the Caribbean isle. Cane Bay beach is 1/4 mile down the maintained HOA road ... you’ll find a great beach for sitting/swimming/snorkeling, a scuba dive shop, and multiple dining options such as The Landing, Off The Wall, and AMA.New split air conditioning units (with remote controls) cool the house in every room. New screens added to sliding doors also to allow you to keep it more natural in the cooler months by just using the ceiling fans. The gate, exterior parking area, and lower stairs to the water pump/water heater room have motion activated security cameras for your safety.
