Ohtels la Hacienda

Just came back from a week away here what can I say it's a beautiful hotel very clean food was amazing although the guy behind the pizzas was a bit hands on not letting you get your slice with out him grabbing it with his hands ( he had gloves on but not the point ) there was tongs there for us to use we made bit of a joke every meal time seeing how many people he got haha other than that staff are all amazing very friendly and approachable would definitely come here again big shout out to the young lifeguard he was really good with all kids my son banged his face in the pool and busted the bridge of his nose the lifeguard was amazing with him checking on him throughout his shift and again the day after over all I would say ohtel la hencenda is a 10/10 .

Great holiday in Hotel La Hisenda. This was our first time in this hotel and in the area and I must say the Hotel was very clean and staff worked very hard. Location- 7 - 10 minutes from beach close to local shops, restaurants near by. Close to Salu by bus or by taxi. All bus numbers to Salu or Barcelona and other areas I have attached a photo. Bus stop is just round the corner from Hotel roughly 30 seconds away. Bus to Salu cost us €2.95 each you need cash or to purchase a travel card in advance. The bus company is Plana bus. Taxi to Salu was between €13 - €15 for a car. The hotel recommend them book the taxi as the drivers English wasn't very good we got our own taxi twice and never had a issue. Food & Drink - Plenty of choice, anything that i belive you need for a holiday choice. Plenty of meat, fish, vegetables, pasta, chips, pancakes, chocolate fountain multiple cheese and meat platters all freshly cooked and cut. They make there own bread and pastries on site. Staff worked hard to serve all the people and get them seated and service was good and quick. Microwave and high chair for youngsters. Plenty of choice even for fussy eaters. Drinks plenty of soft drinks with food as much as you wanted. If you wanted drinks with your evening meal in the restaurant this was extra and had to pay on your way out. Drinks at the bar had plenty of choice not cheap products they had plenty of UK and good quality spirits, Scottish whisky and normal vodka. Beer was Amstel and current €2.80 a pint. Coke was €3.20 if I remember correctly. Slush and ice cream available at the pool bar. Pool bar was open 10.00 - close of play. Inside bar open from around 19.00 onwards. Rooms - room was clean and was serviced every day, there was enough room and storage only slight mention could do with some more plugs, hair dryer and fridge in the room. AC worked well. Iron and kettle available on request and possibly a charge. Safe available in room. TV had plenty of channels. Staff - entertainment team was amazing and really worked hard to make sure tge children and adults had a good time. Yes the entertainment was mainly for the children but the thats what the hotel mainly has is families. The entertainment after 22.00 is a verity where some of the crowd join in but isn't that part of the fun. We found them very good doing face paints and balloons with the children and making them enjoy there holiday. Kids club was very welcoming 11.00 - 13.00 and similar again in the afternoon. The children could draw, paint, make bracelets and much more. Staff where very supportive and welcoming. The staff in general restaurant, bar, security, cleaners and reception and anyone else really worked hard and was very polite and friendly at all times. They where very good with children doing high fives and even got the security guard up dancing. It really made a difference. Swimming pool and area - has a jacuzzi that can cater for 15 - 20 ppl at one time. Large pool is deeper one end than

Stayed recently at the Hacienda and can honestly say I loved it. The hotel has its own personality but without doubt the best thing about this hotel is the staff. From Jeff, Ellie and David checking you in to Vanessa the restaurant manager who ran the place like clockwork, Mercedes and all the staff too many to list could not do enough to make your stay a pleasant experience. I was All Inclusive and the food was of a good standard. The snacks at the pool bar not great and a bit limited. The token system is just not workable and caused a bit of stress at the start. Fortunately the staff were great helping to implement a crazy token system. OH Hotels take note. Get rid of it. The rooms were kept clean and anything asked for was provided. No tea or coffee facilities in room so hired a kettle. La Pineda is quieter than Salou which suited us fine and glad as I could park no problem. Great Hotel for families to get away and the entertainment team were wonderful with the kids. Recommend you try the Hacienda experience..John

The hotel visually lives up to a 4-star standard, but the organization needs improvement. I ended up wasting most of my first day standing in a check-in queue — and it wasn’t even that busy, with only about 15 families waiting. Our rooms, which were supposed to be ready by 2 PM, weren't available until nearly 5 PM. Despite having four staff members at the reception desk, they were serving one family every 25 minutes. The food at the restaurant was good overall, although food labels were often missing or incorrectly placed. One of the elevators was out of order for six out of the seven days we stayed. It was briefly repaired halfway through our stay but broke down again just a few hours later. The working elevator had a missing floor button, which was finally fixed during our stay. The rooms were decent, but there weren’t many power sockets. We also had to request an infant cot four times (including emailing the hotel weeks before our arrival). Most hotel staff, apart from receptionists, did not speak English, but they were all very friendly. There were plenty of activities for children, although the kids' pool wasn’t ideal — lots of water jets scared my children away from playing there. Overall, I would have rated the hotel 4 stars, but I’m taking off one star because of the disappointing experience on the first day.

Not a 4star,leaky air conditioning, very basic dated rooms,queues for food and drinks,some staff very rude,never felt relaxed,not for me.

This would be a 5 out if 5. But one member of staff was so awful to my teenage daughter and also my partner, I'm going to have to downgrade it. It doesn't matter how good a hotel is, if staff are allowed to behave like that then it's a zero. I'm so sorry to all the other staff and the hotel who were great!
