We spent 4 nights at Bahia Mar. The hotel is lovely tropical design with a nice pool, sea views, good spa and once of the best hotel gyms I've ever seen. They have garden, seaview and beach rooms. We had booked the seaview but there were too many steps for my husband( we're old) so hotel was very accommodating and changed us to garden. Airport pickup and breakfast are included. The staff is very friendly and efficient. We'd stay again.

I have been in this hotel for three nights along my tour of Mozambique. The plus of the hotel are the room that are wide and clean with nice furniture. The rooms have also a private patio with shower that is a really nice touch. I used also the SPA and the GYM that are both really great. The minus have been the walk to the amazing beach (80 steps down), the relatively small pool and the food (well presented but not excellent and with a very very slow service such 2 hours for a lunch...).

We were lodged at Bahia Mar by LAM where our flight to Maputo was cancelled. The hotel is beautiful and the sea facing suites are stunning with amazing views at sunrise and sunset and direct access to the beach. The hotels has all amenities and is extremely comfortable, with an excellent buffet breakfast and menu for other meals. We only stayed one night but you could probably spend several days there without leaving the premises.

Great hotel in amazing beachfront location The staff were all very polite and helpful and even offered us an upgrade to a suite for half of our stay. The rooms had everything you needed and the lovely breakfast was a bonus. Breakfast was excellent and had a good variety of food

Bahia Mar was absolutely phenomenal. They generously upgraded us from a garden suite to sea view- it truly made our trip spectacular and has convinced us to come back and bring friends next year. The view was just stunning from the large gorgeous deck - it was really a highlight. Also want to highlight the excellent wine selection and wonderful service overall. Finally, the location was excellent!! We walked down the beach every night to different restaurants which was a lot of fun. The only minus was that the bed was several steps beyond "firm" which made it challenging for us to sleep- but overall would highly recommend!

We had incredible 3 nights at Bahia Mar hotel. The property is beautiful in the best location. Secluded enough from the village for tranquility but not isolated. Service here is the highlight. Staff is super attentive and caring. Rooms are beautiful and this was definitely the highlight of our trip

I stayed with my wife in this boutique hotel for four nights. We returned from bazaruto and we were well welcomed and pampered. Excellent rooms and restaurant.

Beautiful properties with fantastic views and very professional staff. Perfectly located by the beach and walking distance to restaurants and sea activities.

We had a few days here at the end of a tour of Southern Africa. We had booked a beach suite but unfortunately access to the room was down a flight of steps (I am mobility impaired). The reception staff realised immediately that the room would be unsuitable for me and prepared us a room with level access. They couldn’t have been more helpful. Service is excellent, as is the food, and we were impressed with the way the hotel ‘gives back’ and invests in the local community.
