Azulik Lodge

We had the most incredible 11 nights at Azulik with a multi generational family group of 8 people from 80 years old to 13. The team of wonderful people who run the private lodge are incredible - wonderful hospitality that is warm, friendly and authentic. Nothing is ever too much for the team, yet they always give you as a guest plenty of space and privacy. Azulik may have one of the best views of the ocean I have ever experienced in my life. To watch the boats navigate the tides and the birdlife and endless blue skies was from an elevated view truly special. The lodge itself is perfectly designed and decorated for the environment - open, fresh and comfortable with lots of nooks to enjoy on your own with a good book. The food was perfect with lots of seafood and special locations. Snorkeling at 2 mile reef is top notch as is the picnic lunch afterward on a nearby private island with crystal blue waters to play in. The Sanctuary area is natural and well-managed staying true to Mozambique with a low key, non commercial and natural feel. We will most certainly be back. And just a special thank you to Venture, the manager of the lodge, who looked after us and orchestrated our entire stay so beautifully.

We enjoyed 10 days perched on the cliff of breathtaking Azulik lodge as a family, whilst enjoying a fantastic level of service, from booking to departure. The lodge overlooks the ebbing Indian Ocean, offering permanent amazing views shaped by the tides and the sun. The team is top notch, from arranging special requests ahead of our stay, to making very moment a pleasure without us ever lifting a finger. Rooms are simple but well appointed and always squeaky clean. The chef pampered us for every meal, be it on location or during our outings to the neighbouring islands. A big thanks to the entire staff for providing a service comparable to any 5 star hotel !

The team, the view, the food and the fact you have it only for yourself make Azulik lodge a very special place! The main lodge is chick without being too much, the view is stunning (colors are changing every five minutes) and everything make you feel relax and confortable.

Azulik is an amazing place very unique, totally private (of course as it is an exclusive lodge), the view is stunning, the decoration very chic (not too fancy just purely chic), the rooms are well thought. The staff is absolutly amazing, kind, helpfull, discret, always smiling, the cherry on the cake is Ellouise (the manager) she is an adorable very very competent person, personaly i have an immun disease that makes my diatery requirements very complicated, she did not only take the list of food i had send her, but she made research on my disease to understand it and make sure all the food prepared for me would be compliant… this gives an extra 100 points to Ellouise / Azulik. So thanks again to all the staff of Azulik, a very special thanks to Ellouise and am really looking forward being back as soon as i can.

We visited Azulik as a group of 4 couples in May - what a fantastic week it was, we had sooo much fun and such a good rest! There are no words or pictures that can do justice to this amazing place. Azulik Lodge is unobtrusively perched on top of a sand dune where bush veld meets ocean front; a unique setting that offers spectacular views from sunrise to sunset. The lodge and accommodations are thoughtfully designed to take advantage of the breathtaking views and the decor strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. Ellouise (manageres) and her team of staff were awesome . Their 5 star friendly and efficient service with exceptional attention to detail truly made us feel like royalty! The meals and snacks were fabulous, so fresh and tasty,prepared with love and beautifully present - a real treat! We were also treated to some great game drives, walks, snorkeling and fishing trips, sunset sundowners at the lookout and a boat trip to the sand spit. All organized by Ellouise and her team , for whom nothing was too much trouble. A huge thank you to all of you for a fantastic week. The ONLY negative was having to leave . We will be back !!!

We absolutely loved every aspect of our week-long stay at beautiful Azulik Lodge. Azulik's setting at the top of sand dune overlooking the bay with commanding views of the various islands making up the Bazaruto archipelago was simply breathtaking. The epic view constantly evolves with the changes in the tides and weather. The whole property is beautifully designed and decorated and is exceptionally comfortable whilst being very stylish. The whole experience is just magical. We were a family group of 9 and loved having the whole lodge to ourselves. Lounging at the rim-flow pool overlooking the bay, sampling the Chef's amazing food, day trips to the nearby islands and spits, game drives in the Sanctuary Reserve and snorkelling on the nearby reef. What could be better! The wonderful staff led by Ellouise provided us with 5-star service despite the remote setting. They simply could not do enough for us and the food they produced was simply exceptional. Ellouise clearly runs a tight ship and you can see her high standards in every aspect of the guest experience. I cannot recommend Azulik more highly. Just go!
