Luke's Place

We had a delightful visit to Luke’s place! Linda was a lovely host and made our visit wonderful. She picked us up from the airport and was more than happy to schedule activities for us through her extensive network in vilankulos. She also was very dedicated to ensuring our safety during the recent political instability. The only had two minor issues during our stay. Due to very hot weather, the ac in the villa had trouble keeping up, so it was often quite warm at night. Additionally, there are some ants by the pack porch and pool that bite, so be mindful of them. That said, we’d recommend her villa and hospitality to anyone.

My wife and I decided to stay at Luke's Place after reading some of the reviews on TripAdvisor, and we could not be happier about our choice. Linda and Luis were excellent hosts. Linda was very accommodating. She made the arrangements for the trips to the islands that we so much enjoyed and recommend, something not to be missed. The staff was equally very attentive and tended to all of our needs. Dito climbed up a coconut tree adjacent to our room and drop two coconuts of which we ate the soft pulp and drank the most refreshing water. The rooms have everything one needs and right on the beach. The nearest restaurant Baobab, is a pleasurable walk away via the beach, even when the tide is high. When time came to say goodbye, Linda drove us to the airport. We can only thank them all for a very pleasant stay.

Great comfortable well equipped chalet set in a beautiful tranquil garden with view of the sea. Linda and Louis the hosts were so helpful: meeting us at the airport, taking us to the supermarket, booking trips (and dropping us off/picking us up), ordering take away food etc. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We had such a relaxing stay - thank you!

Linda not only collected us from our previous lodgings and delivered us to the airport but also stopped at the shops so that we could buy groceries; she ordered food when required and put us in touch with her fresh fish supplier so we knew that we could trust the quality and price. We were able to indulge our desire to feast on seafood, coconuts from her trees, and relax in her lush private garden. With only two cottages sharing a pool, we had it to ourselves most of the time. The leisure furniture was comfortable - a most necessary asset for a holiday near the sea. Although the kitchen surrounded the bed, it did not intrude or reduce the comfort. The bed linen is both pretty and comfortable, suited to the climate. Linda's staff were equally friendly and obliging, without expecting a reward. This made for a most relaxing stay. To top it all the daily rate is most affordable! The wifi connection was weak (a local problem) and there was some noise from passers-by, but that would not put us off from repeat visits every time we travel to Vilanculos.

We had a blast in Vilancoulos. The house was just stunning, very clean, next to the ocean. the host Linda is such a wonderful and lovely lady. Someone you really miss when saying goodbye. we would defintely choose for the same house and host next time. That's a no brainer. I don't think our experience could have been better.

I truly loved this place . It is place, lovely garden it is right at the beach. The staff is great and very good ambience. It's close to many places that you can walk by to for drink and food. Highly recommend it there flight that land in vilanculus easy to access.
