Prado Villas

Absolutely loved our stay here. Peace and quiet with lovely views of the pool next to the golf course. Our villa no6 was spacious and clean . It had everything you need for self catering. Both bedrooms were big and the joys of 2 bathrooms. Rooms were cleaned every other day with fresh towels bedding and loo role etc. All the staff especially the receptionist were friendly and approachable. I wouldn't improve anything and I'm finding it hard to find anything negative. Only thing is if you want bars and restaurants within walking distance and you like everything close , this may not be the best choice but for us it was perfect! We hired a car for the week so getting about was no issue. We did however walk to the local spar a few times for essentials which was about 20minute walk there n back . Vilamoura marina / beach was a 30 minute walk but was easy and flat through a nice neighbourhood. I would definitely book again .

Would I return? Yes most . Came for a new year break. Site was quiet only a few people staying. Cafe bar was only open on occasion and closed from New Years Day onwards. Used Ubers to and from Vilamoura Marina (about €4/5 Euros each way). We did walk in one day but that was about a 40 min stroll. Villas are lovely and well equipped. The grounds were neatly manicured and the only thing I can see is the pathways are very rustic and very uneven (wear decent flat shoes or trainers do not attempt heels!). Lovely place we liked the quiet as daughter is autistic so perfect for us. If u want to be in the middle of all the action and activities this ones not for you, but if u like peace and tranquility staying in a residential area its ideal.

The apartment/villa are very nice. Clean well laid out spacious and modern it had everything we needed and was near to the pool there is a snack bar also and the staff were helpful. It is nice and quiet but only €5 in Uber to the marina so not too far away from bars and restaurants we will definitely return

Arrived today staying at Prado Villas accommodation nice but there is nothing nearby to do not a great start to the holiday. Marina apparently 35 min walk. Can't find any places to eat near here. We have been to Albufeira and fancied a change sorry we bothered.

We arrived to a lovely warm welcome from the lady in reception who said our room was ready despite us being early and she showed us to our accomodation. The apartment was a good size and modern with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan lounge, kitchen /diner with a decent sofa bed. The accommodation was quite well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board and plenty of utensils. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water and some complimentary tea/coffee on arrival as we had to go out and get some straight away so anyone with a late flight would struggle. The cleaners came to the apartment roughly every 2-3 days to replace towels and wipe round at best. The beds were only changed once during a 14 day stay and not at all if you only stay a week. The patio was a bit disappointing as the furniture was worn and dirty and had not been swept or cleaned. The footpaths around the complex were difficult to walk on and pull cases on as they were not level and a strange design. There was no reserving of sunbeds so there was no difficulty getting one whilst we were there but there was a lack of parasols. Only 6 parasols to approx 50 loungers. The pool wasn't regularly cleaned either, at most places I've stayed they are cleaned daily but here we only saw thfm clean it 3 times in 2 weeks. The snack bar was closed on a Friday and is run by young people who seem to have no clue about cleaning up and wiping tables. I had to ask for a table to be cleaned before I could sit down. They did however have a decent menu and did nice cocktails. The property is a good 40 minutes walk to the marina but is in a lovely quiet residential area so is exceptionally peaceful at night. You can easily get an Uber to the marina for 4/5 euros. There is a small Spar and a handful of restaurants/bars approx 10 min walk away which is useful. We had a good holiday but wouldn't return to the accomodation as the cleanliness and upkeep let it down. Shame really because it could be really nice if the owners would invest a bit more into it.

Just returned from a lovely stay at Prado Villas. The pool area is clean and tidy and the bar staff were kind and friendly. Villa was beautiful 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Stayed in Villa 12 which was perfect. Everything you could need. Would have like the bar to be open slightly later but overall a great stay.
