A hotel to relax, with a great and friendly service. Really enjoyed the time in the hotel, and the view to the Douro and Oporto is stunning.

I highly recommend to stay at the Rebello Hotel. The location of that Hotel is the best in Porto , just 5 min walk to Gaia hub of port wine industry, where you can find cellars offering the tours and testings of Porto wines. Also, it’s a walking distance to cross the the bridge Dom Luis I - to reach the city center. The hotel has an outstanding rooftop with an amazing and romantic view over the river and the City , where we enjoyed the cocktails, dinners and breakfasts. The Staff of the hotel was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were very stylish and clean, the bed was super comfortable. The Spa definitely exceeding my expectations! Inspired by Roman bath with calm and relaxing ambiance. I got myself a deep tissue massage and my therapist was soft-spoken, but her touch was firm in the best way possible. The hotel also offers to rent an electric bikes and that’s why we managed to visit the local beaches. I was completely impressed by the professionalism of the staff and customer service , I highly recommend to stay at Rebello Hotel and I definitely will be back very soon. Edyta

This hotel is fantastic- one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The location, across from Porto allows for a quieter, less crazy stay, but with unforgettable views of the Douro River and Porto. We were lucky to get a suite with a double sized balcony overlooking the river and Porto. We stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed just sitting on our balcony , with a blanket and enjoying the view… with a bottle of wine, of course. The rooftop bar is excellent with limited menu that was all good food. Breakfast daily in Pots and Pans was delicious- we did not eat dinner there. Easy to get a Bolt or Uber for 5-6 Euro to get across the bridge into Porto. There are MANY port wine tasting rooms on the Gaia side that are walkable. We went on to Lisbon and the Algarve- but this hotel was a highlight. Staff excellent. We did not use the spa. We found Rebello in a NY Times travel article which gave accurate review. Stay here.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Rebello. The Rebello is the type of hotel that other hotels should send their staff to visit and learn - they just have it so right. It's rare for us to go to a European city and dine in the hotel restaurant but we actually ate on two evenings - once on the rooftop and once in the Pot and Pan. Both were lovely and the service in the restaurant was exceptional. Its disappointing to see it wasn't that busy on any of the evenings- its really a gem that you need to dine in when in porto. All of the staff we encountered were fantastic. Really helpful and the whatsapp messaging service is a lovely touch. The hotel is newly opened so I hope they keep up the same levels of cleanliness and service. It's a little bit out of the centre but that didn't bother us at all, we walked in during the day and got an uber back in the evenings. Uber in Porto is very good value. We sadly didn't use the spa or pool but we will 100% return to Porto for a weekend break, just to stay at the Rebello!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Rebello in Porto. The hotel is beautiful and newly renovated. Staff is very nice and helpful. SPA services are at an excellent level. Breakfast is very varied and delicious. Choosing this hotel to stay in Porto was best decision. I highly recommend the hotel.

Relaxing, good location, great service. The spa was a nice perk. Great place. Some may not wish to be in Gaia, especially with construction and traffic to get into Porto meaning it often takes a good 30 minutes by Uber, but if you like walking its just as fast and much more enjoyable. And we preferred Gaia, a bit more relaxing and allows you to see another part of city. My only critique would be the need for hot water in the jacuzzi, not lukewarm, but hey, that's nitpicking :)

The room was modern, well appointed, clean and large & spacious with a river view across to Porto. The roof bar was a great place as well with very good staff & excellent food. Reception was well manned and efficient. The only concern the breakfast which is slightly disorganised and improves over time as more staff seem to gradually appear and things start to happen.
